Provided is a flame retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, heat resistance in terms of heat deflection temperature, and processability and handling properties in terms of melt viscosity. The flame retardant resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a synthetic resin and 0.5 to 20 parts by mass of a mixture of phosphoric esters represented by general formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and n represents an integer of 1 to 5. The mixture contains 70% to 75% by mass of the phosphoric ester of formula (1) wherein n=1, with the total of the phosphoric esters of formula (1) wherein n is 1 to 5 being taken as 100% by mass.

Provided is an additive masterbatch comprising a low-melting-point resin additive at a high concentration, which additive masterbatch can be continuously produced without strand breakage, shows excellent clumping resistance to inhibit bleeding from a pellet thereof and thus has few use restrictions for potential application.The resin additive masterbatch is characterized by comprising, with respect to 100 parts by mass of (A) a polyolefin resin: 50 to 200 parts by mass of (B) a resin additive having a melting point of not higher than 65° C.; and 10 to 20 parts by mass of (C) an inorganic layered compound.

The liquid container according to the present invention includes: a container main body 1 which stores a liquid; an ultrasonic sensor 2 which is disposed so as to contact an outer side wall of the container main body and so as to emit an ultrasonic wave into the liquid; and a reflecting means 3 which is disposed at an inner bottom portion of the container main body 1 and reflects an ultrasonic wave emitted into the liquid from the ultrasonic sensor 2, towards the liquid surface, wherein the reflecting means 3 is disposed at a position, where a distance the ultrasonic wave travels through the liquid, of the path of the ultrasonic wave from the ultrasonic sensor to a reflecting surface of the reflecting means, is greater than a distance at which an insensitive band of the ultrasonic sensor 2 is obtained. With the liquid container of the present invention, it is possible to measure the liquid level in a short period of time, without being affected by the insensitive band of the ultrasonic sensor, even if the liquid level is low.

The present invention provides a dye that is excellent in solubility and heat-resistance, and a novel compound that is suitable for the dye, and specifically provides a yellow dye having a maximum absorption wavelength in the region of 420 to 470 nm. Furthermore, the present invention provides a colored (alkali-developable) photosensitive composition and an optical filter using the dye, and specifically provides a color filter that does not decrease luminance and thus is preferable for an image display device such as a liquid crystal display panel. Specifically, the present invention provides a novel compound represented by the following general formula (1), a dye using the compound, and a colored (alkali-developable) photosensitive composition and a color filter.
