A method of depositing a metal cladding on conductors in a damascene process is described. The potential between, for instance, cobalt ions in electroless solution and the surface of an ILD between the conductors is adjusted so as to repel the metal from the ILD.

Techniques are provided for controlling an on-chip termination resistance in an input or output (IO) buffer using a calibration circuit. The calibration circuit monitors the voltage between an external resistor and a group of on-chip transistors. When voltage between the external resistor and the group of transistors is within a selected range, the calibration circuit causes the effective resistance of the transistors to match the resistance of the external resistor as closely as possible. The calibration circuit enables another set of transistors in the IO buffer so that the effective on resistance of the transistors in the IO buffer closely match the resistance of the external resistor.

The method includes providing an even compensation data value and an odd compensation data value and averaging the two to produce an odd-even compensation data value. Only half as much memory space is required to hold the averaged odd-even compensation data values.

A harmonic-suppressing AC/DC power converter employs a control method for permitting the AC/DC power converter only to detect an input AC current and an output DC voltage. The control method can control the AC side of the AC/DC power converter to generate a voltage which is proportional to the input AC current. Thereby, the AC/DC power converter acts as a virtual resistor having a linear resistance characteristic. Accordingly, the input AC current of the AC/DC power converter can be controlled to approximate nearly as a sinusoidal wave with the performance of high input power factor and low input harmonic current.

An organic electroluminescent device for preventing long distance short comprises an isolated separating layer unit provided on an organic light emitting layer and the two sides of an second electrode, and an isolating trench further provided between a first isolated separating layer and a second isolated separating layer of the isolated separating layer unit. Accordingly, the isolating trench is provided for preventing the irregular electrical contact from the first electrical conducting layer of the top of the first isolated separating layer and the second electrical conducting layer of the top of the second isolated separating layer, that is, the irregularly lighting by the pixels can be prevented from the long distance short for the organic electroluminescent device.

The present invention discloses a heat dissipating system and device. The heat dissipating system includes a compressor having two pipelines; a heat dissipating for connecting a first combining tube of one of the two pipelines from the compressor, a plurality of heat dissipating fins disposed between the first combining tube and a second combining tube with the same shape of the first combining tube for defining a multilayer channel with the internal sides of the first and second combining tubes, two pipelines connected externally and separately to the second combining tube; an expansion valve; and an evaporator. The compressor is used for dispersing the heat of a conductive medium of a cooling fluid to conduct the heat of a heat source and lower the temperature of the heat source, so as to enhance the heat dissipation and performance of the heat dissipating system.

A supply voltage detection circuit determines when the voltage for any one of the power supply signals received by an integrated circuit device is below its steady state level, as may occur during a hot socket condition when the device is inserted in or removed from a powered-on system. A first detection circuit determines when the first supply voltage level is below its steady state level, and a second detection circuit determines when the second supply voltage level is below its steady state level. A logic circuit provides a detected condition signal that disables current flow through an input/output terminal associated with the supply voltage detection circuit. The circuit is able to rapidly detect hot socket conditions for a wide range of power supply signal levels, including low supply signal levels, while limiting leakage current effects.

Therefore, the present invention utilizes the key set to wirelessly control the notebook computer to control the operating system or to support multimedia programs and functions. Accordingly, user can use the wireless signal receiving module and the confirmation device to confirm the confirmation signal has been received by the notebook computer, or verify that signal has been sent by the notebook computer. Therefore, the wireless receiving module and the confirmation device user can use the confirmation device to confirm that a command has been received by the notebook computer, or verify that a signal has been sent by the notebook computer.
