Abstract:
A method for making absorbent sanitary articles including the steps of preparing at least a first continuous web and a second continuous web of material, the first having two longitudinal edges parallel to each other, cutting the first web in such a way as to divide it into a plurality of portions positioned one after the other, rotation and/or translation of at least part of the portions so as to associate them in pairs to define a plurality of pairs of portions and connecting the portions to the second web. The cutting step is performed in such a way as to form, on the first web, an alternating succession of first, second, third and fourth portions, having respective orientations different from each other and each equipped with a first and a second side parallel with each other, defining part of the longitudinal edges of the first web.
Abstract:
A feeder device of products with reduced longitudinal dimensions in machines for the tobacco industry comprises a main feeder roller which rotates continuously and which has a plurality of active peripheral flutes acting to hold a respective product; the main roller is designed to pass the products on to respective flutes on corresponding handling rollers of a main line of feed of the products in the machine the device is associated with; the device comprises means for continuously filling the peripheral flutes of the main roller, the filling means comprising a plurality of feeding and passing-on means, in particular at least first means and second means for feeding and passing on corresponding groups of the products to corresponding groups of flutes located one after the other on the main roller.
Abstract:
An apparatus for filling trays with rod-shaped smokers articles comprises a station for filling the trays, a conveying apparatus for directing the smokers' articles in bulk to the filling station, a first conveyor assembly for directing the empty trays in succession to the filling station, and a second conveyor assembly for removing the full trays in succession from the filling station; the conveying apparatus has an outlet in communication with the filling station, and the apparatus comprises a delivery device for delivering the smokers' articles, in communication with the outlet and insertable into each tray to be filled, and a movement device for reciprocally moving the delivery device and each tray while the tray is being filled.
Abstract:
A method for producing bags containing fiber material, comprises the steps of forming at least one continuous layer of fiber material; separating in succession portions of fiber material from the continuous layer and moving them along a predetermined path; feeding each portion of fiber material to respective containment and compaction elements of a first transfer conveyor; feeding an ordered succession of bags containing respective portions of fiber material to respective supporting elements of a second transfer conveyor; transferring the portions of fiber material into respective housings of a third transfer conveyor; transferring the portions from the third transfer conveyor inside respective containment bags carried by a second transfer conveyor; transferring the containment bags from the second transfer conveyor to a fourth transfer conveyor; and moving in succession the bags housing respective portions of fiber material to a folding unit at which the bags are closed.
Abstract:
Described is a packet for tobacco products comprising two containers of tobacco products each substantially having the shape of a parallelepiped and provided with two larger side walls, two smaller side walls, a bottom wall and a top wall, the packet has an outer wrapper having at least one connection panel and at least two additional panels, in particular the containers are connected to the outer wrapper at the at least one connection panel; the packet is provided with a lid, hinged along a first hinge to one of the additional panels, which is able to rotate between a closed position and an open position of the packet and, in the closed position, keeping each of the two additional panels in contact with a respective larger side wall of each container.

Abstract:
An apparatus for feeding pasta sheet into a pasta-making machine, including feed means for feeding a strip of pasta sheet along a predetermined path, and a punching device designed to operate on the strip in the stop condition so as to punch it and obtain from it out pieces of pasta sheet intended to be wrapped around respective portions of filling, thereby producing respective pieces of filled pasta, the apparatus includes a speed variator device for the feed speed of the strip, interposed between the feed means and the punching device for causing, during each machine cycle of the apparatus, a variation in the speed of a branch of the strip positioned at the punching device which, in combination with the speed at which the strip is supplied by the feed means, stops the branch of the strip.
Abstract:
A product packaging machine comprises a conveyor (4) for feeding the products along an axis (D) in a feed direction (V); a grouping station (5) for the products (3) located downstream of the conveyor (4) along the feed direction (V) for grouping the products (3) into a group (2) of products (3); the group (2) has at least a first and a second layer (6, 7) of products (3); at the grouping station (5), the machine (1) comprises stacking means (11), by which at least the first and the second layer (6, 7) are stacked from the bottom up; more specifically, the stacking means (11) raise the first layer (6) from the bottom up and stack the second layer (7) from below, under the first layer (6).
Abstract:
A method to produce an energy storage battery having the steps of: providing an electrochemical cell, which is at least partially complete and is provided with an electrical collector; providing a container having a first wall; placing, on an outer surface of the first wall, an outer body, which constitutes an electrical pole of the battery; and inserting the electrochemical cell into the container bringing the electrical collector close to the first wall; providing the electrical collector with an access from the outside of the container in order to permit a weld between the electrical collector and the outer body in order to establish an electrical connection; welding the electrical collector and the outer body to one another through the aforementioned access in order to establish an electrical connection.
