A machining configuration drawing apparatus includes a drawing unit for drawing a machining configuration and a present machining position, a setting unit for setting a display area in an overall drawing area, a division unit for dividing the overall drawing area into a plurality of display areas based on the set display area, and a selection unit for selecting a drawing region drawn by the drawing unit from a plurality of drawing regions. The selection unit selects a drawing region in which the present machining position exists. Further, the drawing unit draws a machining configuration and a present machining position of the selected drawing region.
Abstract:
A degradation diagnosis method for simply performing degradation diagnosis of a gas sensor such as a hydrogen sensor. The hydrogen sensor has a reference detector member and common detector member, with each detector member respectively constituted of a detector element and temperature compensating element that form a pair. Power is normally supplied to the common detector member, which performs concentration detection of the hydrogen gas. When performing degradation diagnosis of this common detector member, concentration detection is performed simultaneously by each detector member for the gas of the prescribed hydrogen concentration by supplying power to both the common detector member and reference detector member and comparing the output value of the common detector member and the output value of the reference detector member.

A control apparatus for a gas sensor with a built-in heater is provided which can prevent damage to, deterioration of, and reduction in accuracy of detection of, a gas sensor. When an ignition switch is turned ON, supply of electricity to a heater 27 starts, and when the temperature in the vicinity of a gas sensor 15 (gas temperature of gas detection chamber 24) Ts becomes greater than a predetermined temperature #Ti at start, or when a predetermined electricity supply time after start of supply of electricity to the heater 27 has elapsed, the gas sensor 15 is started. The flow of off-gas is started simultaneously with starting of the gas sensor 15, or after starting. When the ignition switch is turned OFF, the flow of off gas is stopped, and the supply of electric power to the gas sensor 15 is stopped. In a state where a temperature difference ΔT between the gas temperature Ts inside the gas detection chamber 24, and an upstream gas temperature Tg is maintained within a predetermined range, the supply of electricity to the heater 27 is stopped after a predetermined time has elapsed after operation of the gas sensor 15 is stopped.

The present invention provides a vehicle control system, which easily carries out modifications such as updating and improvement of the system, improving the transmission efficiency of the data and responsiveness of the system, and allowing the redundancy to be effectively used even during normal operation of the network. In the vehicle control system, an electric control device is formed comprising a cooperative control ECU which acts as a server apparatus and a plurality of subsystems which are connected to this cooperative control ECU and act as client apparatuses. The plurality of subsystems comprise, for example, a motor control ECU, a reactive gas supply control ECU, an electrical power distribution control ECU, and a cell voltage detection control ECU. Each of the ECUs which forms each of the subsystems carries out I/O processing for the control signals that are sent to and received from the cooperative control ECU and shut down processing and protective processing during abnormal operation such as a network stoppage. The cooperative ECU carries out control operations for controlling each of the ECUs and the controlled objects based on control signals obtained from the I/O processing of each of the ECUs.

For maintenance and management of filters in a wire electric discharge machine, a sensor for detecting the filtration pressure is disposed between the filter and pump in the working fluid circulation channel. The sensor periodically senses the pressure and its output (transition of water pressure) is stored and sequentially displayed as a graph on a display device to allow monitoring of filter clogging by checking such sensor output at the time of commencing the processing.

A system for discriminating engine-starting of a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and a generator-motor connected to the engine to rotate the engine to start and to be rotated to generate electric power after the engine is started. In the system, elapse of time is measured after the current command value supplied to the generator-motor becomes less than a reference value, and it is determined whether the detected engine speed is greater or equal to a combustion-completion discriminating speed after the measured time has reached a predetermined value. Then, it is determined whether the detected engine speed is determined to be greater or equal to the combustion-completion engine speed, and if it is, it is discriminated that the engine is definitely started. With the arrangement, the engine starting is discriminated in a relatively short time with highly accuracy.

A carriage controller for a multi-layer disc which is capable of performing a stable carriage control during reproduction of a multi-layer disc of the opposite recording scheme. A tracking error signal is relayed by an equalizer, and a carriage motor is driven in accordance with an output signal of the equalizer. An information reading direction on a layer of a disc on which a pickup reads information is detected, and an equalizer characteristic is set in the equalizer in accordance with the detection result.

An optical pointing device for instructing a predetermined operation by moving an index over a display screen of a computer is configured such that a plurality of photocouplers are arranged on vertical sides and horizontal sides of a rectangular operation plane at a predetermined pitch in such a manner that lines of action thereof cross each other at a right angle, coordinates of a first shading pointer contacted to the surface of the operation plane are detected by the photocouplers, coordinates of a second shading pointer contacted to the surface of the operation plane are then detected, and a moving direction is set from the coordinates to move the index. Therefore, a plurality of locations on the surface of the operation plane can be detected by the photocouplers independently, the moving direction can be set from the coordinates of locations where two pointers are placed, and only the moving direction is instructed from the operation plane, thereby making it possible to reduce the size of the pointing device.

A disk cartridge has a shutter. The shutter is slidably connected to a shell body by a slider made of synthetic resin. The shutter has a plurality of pin-insertion holes on its mating surface. The slider has a plurality of connecting pins that are inserted into the pin-insertion holes of the shutter so that its mating surface mates with the mating surface of the shutter. The connecting pins are formed at distal ends thereof with heads having larger diameters than the pin insertion holes to support the shutter between the heads and the mating surface of the slider. The heads of the connecting pins are provided by plastic-deforming the distal ends of the connecting pins.
