Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for time-lapse astrophotography. One embodiment of the invention comprises a method for capturing a time-lapse image sequence. The method comprises capturing a first plurality of photographs, wherein capturing each photograph of the first plurality of photographs comprises opening a shutter of an image-capture device; while the shutter of the image-capture device is open, moving the image-capture device to reduce the movement of a celestial object or coordinate within the field of view of the image-capture device; closing the shutter of the image-capture device; and moving the image-capture device to a subsequent orientation.

Abstract: A sparse streaming system provides a first-class means for sparse metadata to be added to streaming media presentations and to be delivered using an integrated data channel that is cacheable using readily available HTTP-based Internet caching infrastructure for increased scalability. The sparse streaming system stores a reference to a sparse track within a continuous track. If a continuous fragment arrives at the client that refers to a sparse fragment that the client has not yet retrieved, then the client requests the sparse fragment. In addition, each sparse fragment may include a backwards reference to the sparse fragment created immediately prior. The references in the continuous fragments make the client aware of new sparse track fragments, and the backwards references in the sparse track fragments ensure that the client has not missed any intervening sparse track fragments.

Abstract: An RC triggered ESD protection device comprises a discharge transistor, a driver circuit and a trigger circuit. The trigger circuit comprises a plurality of native NMOS transistors connected in parallel with a plurality of PMOS transistors operating as resistors. The relatively small resistance of the plurality of native NMOS transistors helps to keep a stable RC time constant value so that the ESD protection device can avoid a leakage current during a power up operation.

A plurality of data baseline values of the touch panel is calibrated and set during an initialization of a touch panel. A plurality of touch data is obtained after scanning the touch panel.
