Abstract:
A conveyor belt is provided with at least one guide rim, wherein the guide rim extends in a longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt, such that it enables guiding of the belt along a lateral guide surface on an outer periphery of a roll or the like by which the direction of the belt is changed and by which the belt is subjected to a predetermined bending. The guide rim has a contact surface that is in contact with the conveyor belt. In a position in which the belt is not subjected to any bending in the longitudinal direction thereof, as seen in a cross section cross wise to the longitudinal direction of the guide rim, the guide rim presents residual stresses (σ1, σ2) including an induced tensile stress in opposite lateral regions of the contact surface and an induced compressive stress in a region between the lateral regions. The tensile stress generates a tensile force on the contact surface in a direction away from the conveyor belt and the compressive stress generates a compressive force on the contact surface towards the conveyor belt.
Abstract:
The elementary composition of a Hot Isostatic Pressed ferritic-austenitic steel alloy includes, in percentages by weight: C 0-0.05; Si 0-0.8; Mn 0-4.0; Cr more than 29-35; Ni 3.0-10; Mo 0-4.0; N 0.30-0.55; Cu 0-0.8; W 0-3.0; S 0-0.03; Ce 0-0.2; the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. Objects of the alloy can be useful in making components for a urea production plant that require processing such as machining or drilling, for example, in making, or replacing, liquid distributors as used in a stripper as is typically present in the high-pressure synthesis section of a urea plant.
Abstract:
A hard metal composition of material comprised of, in weight percent, an alloy of from 6-15% of cobalt content; a molybdenum content of from 5-15% of the cobalt content and a chromium carbide content of from 0-15% of the cobalt content and the balance of tungsten carbide.
Abstract:
A parting tool for the chip removing machining of metal blanks includes a blade and a replaceable cutting insert mounted in a seat, which is delimited between a bottom support and an elastically resilient clamping finger. The cutting insert includes an upper side, in which there is included a front rake surface, as well as an application surface positioned behind the same and against which the clamping finger is pressed. In the clamping finger, a flushing channel is included to spray a cooling medium toward the rake surface. A front nose of the clamping finger facing a shoulder is formed between the rake surface and the application surface and has the purpose of protecting the nose from chips. The shoulder has two knobs mutually separated by a central notch, via which cooling medium can pass from the flushing channel toward the rake surface.
Abstract:
A down-the-hole hammer drill bit assembly includes a foot valve and a drill component having respective abutment regions in the form of cooperating lugs and shoulders that may be engaged by rotation of the valve relative to the drill bit component to allow the lugs and shoulders to overlap radially to lock the valve at the drill component. The assembly is advantageous to allow coupling and decoupling on-site without the need for specific swaging or hydraulic/pneumatic assembly tools.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher bearing arranged for carrying a crushing head of a gyratory crusher having an inner crushing shell supported by the crushing head, and an outer crushing shell supported on a crusher frame. The gyratory crusher bearing includes a lubricant supply channel and a lubricant drainage channel. At least one of the lubricant supply channel and the lubricant drainage channel is arranged for housing a combined mounting and lubricant passage bolt holding the gyratory crusher bearing to a bearing support arranged on the crusher frame of the gyratory crusher.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher includes a spider supported at a top shell, the spider having a pair of spider arms protected by respective arm shields. The shields are mounted and dismounted at the respective arms via a locking flange and notch and lug arrangement to avoid attachment by welding or attachment bolts.
Abstract:
A jaw crusher control system is arranged to control a hydraulic positioning device for positioning a movable jaw of a jaw crusher of the type comprising a movable jaw and a stationary jaw forming between them an outlet of a variable crushing chamber. The jaw crusher control system receives a signal from a crushing chamber level detector indicating the amount of material that is present in the crushing chamber and to control the hydraulic positioning device to position the movable jaw to obtain a first closed side setting (CSS1) when the crushing chamber is considered as full of material, and to obtain a second closed side setting when the crushing chamber is considered as empty of material, wherein in the second closed side setting (CSS2) the outlet is more narrow than in the first closed side setting (CSS1)
Abstract:
A milling tool for hobbing a workpiece. The milling tool includes a cylindrical tool body having a rotation axis and a plurality of disc-shaped segments. Each of the segments including a hub part and a peripheral cam having a plurality of tangentially spaced-apart milling inserts. Each segment has a through hole situated on the rotation axis. Each of the holes is directed in relation to each other such that a central duct is formed in the cylindrical tool body. Bordering segments are detachably torsionally rigidly interconnected The milling tool also includes a first end piece, which on one side is detachably and torsionally rigidly interconnected with a first one of the segments and which on the other side has coupling members for torsionally rigid coupling to a source of torque, such that all torque from the source is supplied to the cylindrical tool body via the first end piece.
Abstract:
A cutting bit retaining assembly for mounting a cutting bit at a cutting machine includes a holder body having a through bore to receive a bit shaft. A retainer acts against the holder body and bit shaft and includes a first and second abutment member that provides a reliable and constant locking force between the body and the shaft.
