Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to providing time feedback on an electronic device, and in particular to providing non-visual time feedback on the electronic device. Techniques for providing non-visual time feedback include detecting an input and, in response to detecting the input, initiating output of a first type of non-visual indication of a current time or a second type of non-visual indication of the current time based on the set of non-visual time output criteria met by the input. Techniques for providing non-visual time feedback also include, in response to detecting that a current time has reached a first predetermined time of a set of one or more predetermined times, outputting a first non-visual alert or a second non-visual alert based on a type of watch face that the electronic device is configured to display.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and processes for monitoring a workout and for generating improved interfaces for the same. One example user interface detects when a workout of a particular type is started and begins generating activity data related to workout metrics associated with the type of workout selected. Using determined current values for the workout metrics, the example user interface displays a pro-view display that includes indicators for the workout metrics associated with the selected workout type. The pro-view display also includes a focus indicator that highlights a selected indicator representative of a focused workout metric. The focus indicator is movable among the indicators representative of the workout metrics based on user input. Upon detection of a gesture, the example user interface transitions to a simple-view display that includes an indicator representative of the focused workout metric. The simple-view display includes indicators for less than all of the workout metrics associated with the selected workout type. The example user interface receives input to change the focused workout metric in the simple-view display. The example user interface also receives a gesture to transition the simple-view display back to the pro-view display.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to devices and processes for monitoring attributes of a user's physical activity (e.g., workout) or inactivity, and to user interfaces (e.g., an activity indicator) for displaying the same. In some examples, the device controls an inactivity timer that measures user's inactivity. Abstract: A method includes displaying, on a touch-sensitive display, a plurality of application icons in a first configuration at locations on a hexagonal grid in relation to an origin. The application icons have corresponding ranks based on their respective locations in relation to the origin. In response to detecting a movement of a user contact from a first position to a second position: the display of a first application icon at a first location is translated to a second position; a second configuration of the application icons is determined based on the first location and the second location; and the display of the application icons is transitioned from the first configuration to the second configuration. In the second configuration, no application icon except the first application icon is displaced by more than one location relative to the first configuration.

Abstract: An electronic device displays at least one device initialization screen. After displaying the at least one device initialization screen, the electronic device displays an instruction screen instructing a user to pair the external device with the electronic device. The electronic device sends first data via wireless communication, displays a pattern comprising identifying information of the electronic device, and receives second data indicating that the external device and the electronic device have been paired using the first data. After receiving the second data, the electronic device provides an aural or haptic indication that the electronic device and the external device have been paired. In some examples, the electronic device is a wearable electronic device and the external device is a smartphone. Pairing the electronic device and the external device may allow the devices to exchange information and operate interactively with one another.
