Abstract: One example of an optical jumper includes an optical cable, a first connector, a second connector, and a tag. The first connector is optically coupled to a first end of the optical cable. The second connector is optically coupled to a second end of the optical cable. The tag is coupled to the first connector and stores data identifying the optical cable, the first connector, and the second connector. The tag is readable by a system with the first connector optically coupled to the system.

Abstract: A housing-attachable (HA) optical connector is removably attached to a housing that is initially designed for an electrical interface with a base electrical connector on a system board. An optical fiber terminates at one end to a chip optical connector and terminates at another end to the HA optical connector. The HA optical connector is positioned with respect to the housing such that when a portion of the printed circuit board of a removable module extending outside the housing comes into contact with a base electrical connector on a system board, the HA optical connector blind mates with a base-attachable (BA) optical connector on the system board. In this manner, electrical connectivity and optical connectivity are provided between the removable module and the system board.

Abstract: An optical conversion module having a printed circuit board having a proximate and a distal end and including an electrical interface at the distal end. The optical conversion module also having a faceplate modularly connected to the proximate end of the printed circuit board, the faceplate having at least one retention device. The optical conversion module further having an optical transceiver disposed on and electrically connected to the printed circuit board, a chip optical connector disposed on and optically connected to the optical transceiver, and a faceplate optical connector modularly disposed through the faceplate and modularly connected to the chip optical connector through an optical fiber jumper.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a liquid-cooled transceiver assembly. The liquid-cooled transceiver assembly comprises a removable communications module and a receiving bay assembly. The removable communications module includes a faceplate connector to receive a signal from an external device, a signal conversion chip that is coupled to the faceplate connector, and a lever assembly. The lever assembly can engage the receiving bay assembly such that the signal conversion chip is aligned with and makes an electrical connection with an electrical socket disposed on the receiving bay assembly. The removable communications module is inserted into the receiving bay assembly which when fully assembled functions as a liquid-cooled transceiver assembly.

Abstract: One example of a system includes a system board including first contacts, a cage attached to the system board over the first contacts, and a removable transceiver module including second contacts. The transceiver module is installable in the cage in response to a lateral movement of the transceiver module with respect to the cage to align the second contacts with the first contacts and a vertical movement of the transceiver module with respect to the cage to electrically connect the first contacts to the second contacts.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing system can include a positioning sensor to acquire positioning data for the computing system and a non-transitory machine readable storage medium having stored thereon machine readable instructions. The instructions are to cause a computer processor of the computing system to: (1) receive positioning data from the positioning sensor; (2) determine whether the received positioning data indicates tampering of the computing system; and (3) perform an action to mitigate tampering when it is determined that the received positioning data indicates tampering of the computing system.
