    Abstract: An input device includes a first substrate, a first light-emitting element unit, and a third electrode unit. The first substrate has a first surface and a second surface. The first light-emitting element includes a first electrode unit formed on the second surface, a second electrode unit formed in a layer different from that of the first electrode unit, and a luminescent layer electrically in contact with at least a part of the first electrode unit and a part of the second electrode unit, and formed between the first electrode unit and the second electrode unit. The third electrode unit is insulated from the first electrode unit and detects a change in an electric field between the first electrode unit and the third electrode unit depending on coordinates of a proximity object present at a position overlapping with the first surface in planar view.

    Abstract: A display device includes: an image display panel including pixels each including a first to a forth sub-pixel that display a first color to a fourth color; and a signal processing unit. The signal processing unit stores an expanded color space, determines maximum set brightness as an upper limit value of brightness displayable within a range of the brightness in the expanded color space so that the maximum set brightness increases as a panel average input value decreases, determines an input expansion coefficient for expanding the color displayed by the image display panel to a color of the maximum set brightness, obtains the output signal of the first to forth sub-pixel based on the input signal of the first to third sub-pixel and the input expansion coefficient. The expanded color space is a color space that can extend a color of brightness higher than that in a standard color space.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device comprises first and second substrate having light transmissivity and opposing each other, a light-modulating layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, a light source unit which illuminates the light-modulating layer from an outer side of a position which opposes a display area, along a normal direction, first to third color filters of different colors arranged on the first substrate, and first to third electrodes which oppose the first to third color filters, respectively, the light-modulating layer being able to change light dispersibility of each of regions which oppose the first to third color filters according to the electric field produced by each respective one of the first to third electrodes.

    Abstract: The display device includes an image display unit including pixels each including first to third sub-pixels and a fourth sub-pixel for displaying an additional color component according to an amount of lighting of a self-emitting element; a conversion processing unit that performs, for all of pixels, an image analysis on first color information for display at a predetermined pixel, and if a predicted value of power consumption as a total amount of lighting of self-emitting elements is above a limit, outputs a second input signal through a color conversion process on a first input signal including the first color information at a color conversion rate associated with the predicted value; and a fourth sub-pixel signal processing unit that outputs, to the image display unit, a third input signal including third color information with converted red, green, blue, and additional color components.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device including a plurality of sub pixel regions is provided.     Abstract: An input device includes a first substrate, a light-emitting element unit, and third conductive layers. The first substrate includes first and second surfaces. The light-emitting element unit includes: first conductive layers formed in one layer on the second surface side; second conductive layers formed in one layer on the second surface side different from the layer of the first conductive layers; and a luminescent layer provided between the first and the second conductive layers and electrically in contact therewith.
