Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, to a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU), an indication of a first priority level associated with a first communication resource served by a distributed unit (DU) of the network node and a second priority level associated with a second communication resource served by the DU, wherein the first priority level is higher than the second priority level. The network node may receive, from the first IAB donor CU, a first resource configuration for the first communication resource based at least in part on the indication of the first priority level. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus of a network node are provided. The network node may receive, from a second network node, a routing configuration that maps a packet to a routing identifier (ID) based on a first header in the packet. The network node may receive a packet from a pre-hop node, the packet including the first header with a first address and a second header with a second address. The network node may determine that the second address matches an address of the first network node and that the first address mismatches an Internet protocol (IP) address of the first network node. The network node may replace, based on the received routing configuration and based on the address match and address mismatch determination, the second header with a third header, the third header including the routing ID.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) system. A central unit (CU) transmits over a backhaul link a message to a distributed unit (DU) including a resource configuration for a DU cell and a child cell corresponding to a child node served by the DU cell. The DU determines that the message misidentifies the child cell using an ID of a different cell. In response to that determination, the DU communicates with the child node based on the resource configuration specific to the misidentified child cell. Using this coordinated technique enables the CU to provide the DU with a child-node specific resource configuration to enable the DU to use this configuration for communicating with the child node. This maximizes efficiency in multi-node communications between one or more child nodes and cells while adding minimal, if any, signaling overhead.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to rewrite BAP headers in IAB networks. The apparatus receives, from a second base station, a routing configuration indicating a mapping between a first routing ID and a second routing ID. The apparatus receives a packet with a packet header indicating the first routing ID. The apparatus determines the second routing ID based on the routing configuration mapping the first routing ID in the packet header to the second routing ID. The apparatus modifies, based on a determination of the second routing ID, the packet header to replace the first routing ID with the second routing ID. The apparatus transmits the packet based on the second routing ID.

Abstract: A method of handover at a user equipment (UE) is provided comprising receiving, from a first network entity (NE), a configuration for conditional handover associated with a second NE. The configuration includes at least one condition. An indication is received by the UE from the first NE to execute the conditional handover. Handover is initiated from the first NE to the second NE subject to the condition being satisfied. The condition may be that the indication is received or it may be a channel condition or both. At an NE, configurations for conditional handover are sent to multiple UEs, each configuration associated with a target NE and each including at least one condition, and an indication is sent to at least one UE to execute conditional handover.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A central unit (CU) function of a base station may identify a first set of user equipment (UE) to communicate via sidelink communications with a distributed unit associated with the central unit. The CU function may determine, based at least in part on the distributed unit being an integrated access and backhaul provider to the first set of UE, a first configuration for the distributed unit to use for sidelink communications with the first set of UE, the first configuration different than a second configuration for one or more nodes associated with the base station to use for sidelink communications with a second set of UE in communication with the base station. The CU function may provide an indication of the first configuration to the distributed unit.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for channel sensing with self-interference awareness for unlicensed band. A node may transmit, via a first entity of the node, at least one signal during a LBT procedure of a second entity of the node. The at least one signal may include a signal energy. The LBT procedure may be associated with a total measured interference from all detected energy sources. The node may determine a self-interference at the second entity of the node based on the signal energy of the at least one signal transmitted via the first entity of the node and calculate an interference from at least one other source based on a difference between the total measured interference from all detected energy sources and the self-interference determined based on the signal energy of the at least one signal.

Abstract: Techniques for using simultaneous connectivity for mobility of integrated access and backhaul nodes may include an IAB node establishing a first connection with a first parent node (e.g., second IAB node) associated with a first IAB donor device (e.g., first base station) and establishing a second connection with a second parent node (third IAB node), wherein the second connection is simultaneous with the first connection. The IAB node may also switch the first connection from the first parent node to the second parent node.
