Abstract:
Many vehicles designed for running on rough terrain include an automatic transmission for performing speed change by connecting or disconnecting an oil hydraulic clutch provided alongside each speed change gear. However, depending on the posture of the driver, it may be impossible to step on the brake. As a result, it may be impossible to achieve creep prevention with a creep preventive mechanism dependent on a brake signal. Therefore, a creep preventive mechanism which operates independently from a brake signal is required. The present invention provides an oil pressure control system operating independently from a brake signal. The system includes an oil pressure supply source with a linear solenoid valve for supplying working oil or interrupting the supply of the working oil to the oil hydraulic clutches. The supply of the working oil to the clutches is interrupted when the vehicle is stopped under an idling condition of an engine.

A component installing device comprises: a tray component supply section (8) having a plurality of conjointly provided tray component supply mechanisms (7) for moving selected trays (4) from a storage position (5) to a component supply position (6), according to need, thereby providing the components (2) accommodated therein for use; and a cassette component supply section (13) having a plurality of mutually aligned component supply cassettes (12) for carrying components in a tape cassette or a bulk cassette, and transporting said components to a component supply position (11), one at a time, thereby providing said components for use. Components (2) accommodated in the respective trays (4) located at the component supply positions (6) of the respective tray component supply mechanisms (7) in the tray component supply section (8), and components (2) transported to the component supply positions (11) of the respective component supply cassettes (12) in the cassette component supply section (13), are variously handled and installed at prescribed positions on a circuit board (1) by means of an installing head (21).
Abstract:
A pressure regulating valve is provided in a hydrostatic, continuously variable transmission having a hydraulic closed circuit including a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor, and a high pressure oil passage and a low pressure oil passage disposed between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. The pressure regulating valve is provided for relieving the hydraulic pressure in the low pressure oil passage into the high pressure oil passage when the hydraulic pressure in the low pressure oil passage exceeds a predetermined value. The present invention prevents excessive pressure in the oil passages, particularly in the normally low pressure passage that serves as a high pressure side during a speed reducing operation, e.g. an engine braking or reverse load situation.

In a power system for a vehicle, the line segment L connecting between the center O1 of a driving shaft (speed change shaft) of an oil hydrostatic non-stage transmission and the center O2 of a ball screw (ratio change driving shaft) of a ratio change mechanism is set parallel to the mating plane P of the crank case and the cylinder block, while the axis C2 of a detecting shaft is disposed coaxially with the turning axis C1 of a swash plate holder orthogonal to the line segment L, and, in this condition, a ratio detecting sensor is bolted to an upper wall. Wherein the axis C2 of the detecting shaft is set parallel to the cylinder axis C0, and the machining axis for a crank chamber and the machining axis for a fitting portion for the ratio detecting sensor are set parallel to each other.
Abstract:
In a long-distance high-speed optical communication scheme in which multiple optical amplifiers are provided at a large number of stages in optical fibers, an optical signal from a light source which has a desired small line width and oscillates at a single wavelength is modulated at a high speed by an external modulator and then transmitted in the fibers which are dispersion shifted optical fibers, the zero-dispersion wavelength in which is set to be larger than the oscillation wavelength of the light source. Therefore, noises and the modulation instability, which would occur due to the phase fluctuation in the oscillation wavelength of the light source, and the influence of a waveform distortion due to the dispersion in the optical fibers can be avoided to make it possible for the first time in history to transmit the optical signals at the high-speed in the long-distance optical communication system employing the optical amplifiers.

An extruding die for metallic materials comprising a male die and a female die is provided with a billet-receiving face of the male die shaped into convex form. It is possible to reduce breakage frequency of the extruding die by reducing the tensile stress applied on the male die at the time of the extrusion.

A swashplate type hydraulic pressure device comprising a cylinder and a swashplate which is rotatable relative to the cylinder and rotatably supported on a holder, the cylinder having a number of plungers disposed thereon axially slidably in an annular arrangement, in which a spherical end is formed at that extreme end of each plunger which is in abutment with the swashplate, and the swashplate is provided with a spherical concave portion for engagement with the spherical end. By cooperation between the spherical concave portions and the ends, the cylinder rotates synchronously with the swashplate and an aligning action is imparted to the swashplate from the group of plungers of the cylinder.
