Abstract: A wind-resistant umbrella frame structure is applicable to an arrangement of dual canopies and includes a primary frame and a secondary frame. The primary frame has an inner end pivotally connected to a crown and an outer end connected to the annular lower canopy. The secondary frame is pivotally connected to the runner and has an opposite end pivotally connected to the primary frame. The primary frame includes an internal rib, an intermediate rib, an external rib, and a traction rib assembly, and also includes an intermediate rib return wire, an external rib return wire, and a collapse spring. The umbrella frame structure allows air flows to be readily conducted out and ensures the service life of the canopies.

Each umbrella rib can communicate with the support bar, and defines a number of through holes. A canopy is coupled to lower portions of the support ribs. When the fan rotates as driven by the motor, air from the support bar flows to the support ribs, and to the canopy via the through holes.

Abstract: An air cooled sunshade constructed to provide cooling under the canopy of the sunshade. The foldable canopy of the sunshade includes a plurality of segments of elongated panels having embedded solar panels and a plurality of segments of pliable material to allow the canopy to easily stretch when in the open position and collapse in the closed position, typically arranged having one elongated panel connected on foldable material segment arranged around a center piece. In an embodiment disclosed herein, the pliable material is formed as a pipe having an upper layer and a lower layer, the lower layer having pores through which air can flow to the area under the canopy. The air can then flow from a fan or an air conditioner mounted on the center piece and allowing air to flow evenly under the canopy. The solar panels are connected to provide the necessary energy.

Abstract: A motorized umbrella fan whereby a motor drives the rotation of an umbrella assembly, which is comprised of an umbrella skeleton and a canopy, stretched over the skeleton. The canopy functions as a sunshade and plurality of fan blades each of triangular shape radially extending from a hub. A leading edge of each of the plurality of blades has a unshaped portion that is attached to a trailing edge of a preceding blade in a manner that creates vertical spacing between the leading edge and trailing edge of adjacent blades. This creates a slope within each fan blade and a channel between adjacent blades through which air flows. The air flow pushes stale hot air from underneath the canopy, providing a cooling breeze.
