Abstract: Seals for mechanical couplings and fittings have sealing surfaces with one or more projections that form closable leak paths between the coupling or fitting and pipe elements being joined. The leak paths close when the coupling or fitting is properly installed. Otherwise, the leak paths remain open to ensure that improperly installed couplings and fittings can be discovered during pressure testing and before service pressure is applied.

Abstract: An electrically grounded wear resistant liner is described that inserts into a conventional frac sand delivery conduit. The liner allows for conveyance of highly abrasive materials through the liner and conduit while electrically grounding potential static build up from within the liner. Sand, cement and other abrasive slurries may be conveyed through the liner. The wear resistant liner extends the amount of time that the conduit may be used to convey materials without downtime for replacement and repairs. The liner further provides a tri layer construction that includes a middle layer having a color notably different than the outer and inner layers, allowing a user in the fields to quickly determine that the conduit should be replaced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a bifurcated pipe and a bifurcated connector for connecting hoses and a fuel supply hose manufactured using the same, in which connection between a torch and an oxygen tank or a gas tank is facilitated and hoses are prevented from becoming twisted or entangled during a welding or cutting process.Further, according to the present invention, a single connection hose is prevented from being damaged by sparks, a piece of steel cut off the workpiece, a discarded welding rod, or a sharp cut surface or edge of the workpiece, and a worker is capable of easily recognizing gas leakage and a portion from which gas is leaking, thereby preventing an accident.

Abstract: Test flange assemblies comprise a flange body and a piston. The piston is configured to translate relative to the flange body and has an outer surface facing away from the flange body and an inner surface facing toward the flange body. The outer surface defines a circular seal channel for receiving a seal structure between the piston and a flange surface of a flanged component. The outer surface radially inward from the circular seal channel has a surface area that is less than a surface area of the inner surface. Methods of testing pressure containing structures comprise operatively positioning the test flange assembly, positioning a seal structure within the circular seal channel of the piston, coupling the flange body to a flanged component, and pressurizing a volume between the piston and the flange body so that the piston compresses the seal structure between the piston and the flanged component.

Abstract: A double containment fitting for connection to a double containment tubing system with an outer, secondary containment tubing surrounding an inner, primary tubing.
