Abstract: Methods and systems for utilizing a mobile computing device (e.g., such as a mobile phone) for use in controlling a model vehicle are described. Consistent with some embodiments, a mobile computing device provides various user controls for generating signals that are communicated to a radio transmitter device coupled with the mobile computing device, and ultimately broadcast to a receiver residing at a model vehicle. With some embodiments, the mobile computing device may be integrated with a controller housing which provides separate user controls, such that a combination of user controls present on the mobile computing device and the controller housing can be used to control a model vehicle.

Abstract: An exercise feedback system calibrates sensors of an athletic garment worn by an athlete while performing exercises. The sensors can record physiological data such as muscle activation. The system instructs the athlete to perform a calibration workout. The system generates a calibration value based on physiological data from the calibration workout and/or user information. The calibration value indicates, for example, the predicted maximum amplitude for the muscle activation of a particular muscle group (for example, glutes, hamstrings, or quadriceps) of the athlete. The system can update the calibration value over time as the system receives additional physiological data from subsequent exercises performed by the athlete. The system may determine a confidence level of the calibration value and may update the calibration value if the confidence level becomes too low. The system provides biofeedback to the athlete generated based on the calibration value.

Abstract: A lighting control system and method is disclosed for not only controlling visual content loaded within a group set of illumination devices configured within a wireless network, but also for ensuring minimal control delay to those grouped devices. Abstract: A method includes initiating, by a processor of a device, a listening session including listening for a message from a mobile device and receiving the message from the mobile device via a microphone of the device, the message including configuration data for a network, and in response to receiving the message from the mobile device, initiating an access session with the network using the configuration data. In some implementations, the device is coupled to a media player. The media player may be a television. The configuration data may include at least one of an identifier for the network or a password for the network. In some implementations, the initiating occurs only after the device fails to connect to any network. In some implementations, the message is encoded in a sub-sonic signal.
