Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for improving EEG measurements by identifying artifacts present in EEG measurements and providing a real-time indication to a user of likely artifacts in EEG measurements are described. EEG measurements of a patient can be obtained by placing a wearable device or EEG cap on a patient's head. Sensors in the cap provide EEG data to a computing device that processes the data to identify one or more artifacts in the EEG data. The artifacts can be identified by conducting one or more operations of determining the signal to noise ratio of the line noise, calculating mutual information between sensor pairs, and applying the p-welch method. Based on the types of artifacts identified, the computing device can output an indicator that provides feedback to the technician performing an EEG test to make adjustments to the test setup.

In some implementations, a system obtains image data of a hyperspectral image, the image data comprising image data for each of multiple wavelength bands. The system accesses stored segmentation profile data for a particular object type that indicates a predetermined subset of the wavelength bands designated for segmenting different region types for images of an object of the particular object type. The system segments the image data into multiple regions using the predetermined subset of the wavelength bands specified in the stored segmentation profile data to segment the different region types. The system provides output data indicating the multiple regions and the respective region types of the multiple regions.

Abstract: Image data is obtained that indicates an extent to which one or more objects reflect, scatter, or absorb light at each of multiple wavelength bands, where the image data was collected while a conveyor belt was moving the object(s). The image data is preprocessed by performing an analysis across frequencies and/or performing an analysis across a representation of a spatial dimension. A set of feature values is generated using the image preprocessed image data. A machine-learning model generates an output using to the feature values. A prediction of an identity of a chemical in the one or more objects or a level of one or more chemicals in the object(s) is generated using the output. Data is output indicating the prediction of the identity of the chemical in the object(s) or the level of the one or more chemicals in at least one of the one or more objects.

In various implementations, a first temporal sequence of high-elevation digital images may be obtained that captures a geographic area over a given time interval through a crop cycle of a first type of crop. Ground truth operational data generated through the given time interval and that influences a final crop yield of the first geographic area after the crop cycle may also be obtained. Based on these data, a ground truth-based crop yield prediction may be generated for the first geographic area at the crop cycle's end. Recommended operational change(s) may be identified based on distinct hypothetical crop yield prediction(s) for the first geographic area. Each distinct hypothetical crop yield prediction may be generated based on hypothetical operational data that includes altered data point(s) of the ground truth operational data.

Abstract: Implementations are described herein for using machine learning to perform various tasks related to migrating source code based on relatively few (“few shots”) demonstrations. In various implementations, an autoregressive language model may be conditioned based on demonstration tuple(s). In some implementations, a demonstration tuple may include a pre-migration version of a first source code snippet and a post-migration version of the first source code snippet. In other implementations, demonstration tuples may include other data, such as intermediate forms (e.g., natural language descriptions or pseudocode), input-output pairs demonstrating intended behavior, etc. The autoregressive language model may be trained on corpora of source code and natural language documentation on the subject of computer programming. A pre-migration version of a source code file may be processed based on the conditioned autoregressive language model, and a post-migration version may be generated based on output generated based on the conditioned autoregressive model.

Abstract: A system includes a robotic device, a tool rack, a network access point, a message router, and a first tool. The tool rack includes a tool holster that provides for removable coupling of tools to the tool rack and a wireless tag that indicates a wireless network identifier of the tool rack. The network access point generates a wireless network based on the wireless network identifier. The message router communicatively connects, by way of the wireless network, the robotic device to the tools. The first tool is operable by a manipulator of the robotic device and includes an adapter configured to removably couple to the tool holster, a wireless tag reader that scans the wireless tag when the first tool is coupled to the tool holster, and a processor that connects to the wireless network and communicates with the robotic device by way of the message router.

The field response is computed, at least in part, with the convolution operations to perform spatial differencing.

The robot determines a classification for the object and generates an embedding for the object using a machine learning model stored by the robot. The robot stores the generated embedding and data indicating the classification for the object. The robot sends the generated embedding and the data indicating the classification to a server system. The robot receives, from the server system, an embedding generated by a second robot and a corresponding classification. The robot stores the received embedding and the corresponding classification in the local cache of the robot. The robot may then use the information in the cache to identify objects.
