Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes: an insulative housing (10) defining a number of receiving spaces (120); a number of contacts (20) mounted to the insulative housing for transmitting high speed signal, each of the contacts including a mating portion (21), a mounting portion (22) received in one of the receiving spaces, and a connecting portion (23) connecting the mating portion and the mounting portion, a gap formed between each mounting portion and corresponding one of the receiving spaces; and a number of insulative members (52) inserted into the receiving spaces respectively to fill the gaps to adjust the impedance of the contacts.
Abstract:
An optical module includes a horizontal base plate, a lens mounted on the base plate, a fiber sleeve, and a board lock. The lens has a front end face and a rear end face corresponding to the front end face. The fiber sleeve is mated with the rear end face of the lens. The fiber sleeve has a front surface and a rear surface. The board lock is mounted at a rear of the fiber sleeve. The board lock has a strain relief base and a cover locking to the strain relief base. The strain relief base has a front wall and a pogo pin forwardly extending beyond the front wall. The fiber sleeve defines a receiving hole in the rear surface for fixing the pogo pin. The cover is retained to the base plate.
Abstract:
A plug connector includes a plug housing (11) defining a receiving space (1110), a plurality of contacts retained in the plug housing, a cable (16) electrically connected with the contacts and a shielding member (15) enclosing on the plug housing to form a cavity. The contacts comprises a plurality of first contacts (12) and a plurality of second contacts (13), stiff contacting portions of the first contacts are exposed in the receiving space, and elastic contacting portions of the second contacts are exposed in the cavity for transmitting high speed signal. The shielding member is enclosing on the plug housing to form a cavity, the cavity is stacked on the receiving space. The slit is communicated with an exterior in the up-to-down direction, the plug connector further comprises an additional contact (18) received in the slit and extending beyond the bottom surface of the plug housing.
Abstract:
A dual orientation connector assembly for mating with a mating connector in two directions, including: an insulative housing defining a side wall, a printed circuit board (PCB) received in the housing, a mating member soldered on the PCB, a cable extending from an end of the insulative housing, and a magnetic component disposed in the insulative housing to provide a retaining force for retaining to the mating connector. The mating member includes a mounting portion received in the insulative housing, a mating portion extending out of the side wall of the insulative housing for mating with the mating connector, and a number of terminals mounted in the mating portion. The mating portion includes a first surface and an opposite second surface. The first surface and the second surface have the same number of the terminals.
