    Abstract: A display device comprises a substrate having a foldable first region and a second region adjacent to the foldable first region, wherein a folding axis overlaps the foldable first region. The display device further comprises a first transistor overlapping the foldable first region and having a first channel region with a first dimension along a first direction that is substantially perpendicular to the folding axis. The display device further comprises a second transistor overlapping the second region and having a second channel region with a second dimension along the first direction, wherein the first dimension is less than the second dimension.

    Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device includes a light emitting unit disposed on a substrate and electrically connected to a driving circuit. The light emitting unit includes a first electrode electrically connected to a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer disposed on the first semiconductor layer, a quantum well structure sandwiched between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, and a second electrode electrically connected to the second semiconductor layer. The first electrode has a first surface farthest from the first semiconductor layer. The second electrode has a second surface farthest from the first semiconductor layer. A roughness of the second surface is greater than a roughness of the first surface.

    Abstract: An electronic device able to be operated with a first state and a second state includes a substrate and electronic units. In a top view, the substrate has a first area in the first state and a second area in the second state, and the second area is greater than the first area. The electronic units are disposed on the substrate. The number of the electronic units being in a mode of ON in the second state is greater than that in the first state. The electronic device has a PPA_1 that is defined as a number of the electronic units being in the mode of ON per unit area of the substrate while in the first state, and a PPA_2 that is defined as a number of the electronic units being in the mode of ON per unit area of the substrate while in the second state, 1.5×PPA_1≥PPA_2≥0.5×PPA_1.

    Abstract: A flexible device includes a first layer, a second layer, and a dielectric layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer. The first layer includes a plurality of first patterns. Two adjacent ones of the first patterns have a first pitch from two edges of the two adjacent ones of the first patterns. The second layer overlaps with the first layer and includes a plurality of second patterns. Two adjacent ones of the second patterns have a second pitch from two edges of the two adjacent ones of the second patterns. The first patterns include first conductive lines, and the second patterns include second conductive lines. One of the first patterns has a first width, one of the second patterns has a second width, and a ratio of the first width to the first pitch is less than a ratio of the second width to the second pitch.

    Abstract: A touch display device includes a substrate, a display layer disposed on the substrate, an insulating layer disposed on the display layer, and a touch electrode layer directly contacting the insulating layer. The display layer includes a plurality of display units and a barrier portion disposed between adjacent ones of the display units. The insulating layer is disposed between the display layer and a mesh structure of the touch electrode layer. A portion of the mesh structure is overlapped with the barrier portion. The insulating layer includes a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer, and the second layer formed of organic insulating material is disposed between the first layer and the third layer which are formed of inorganic insulating materials. In the second layer, a first thickness corresponding to the display units is greater than a second thickness corresponding to the barrier portion.
