    Abstract: A power relay device includes a power receiver configured to wirelessly receive power of a first class when coupled with a wireless power transmission device, a first power converter configured to convert power supplied from the power receiver into a form appropriate for a first mobile terminal, a second power converter configured to receive power from the first power converter and to convert the power into power of a second class, and a power transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the power of the second class to a second mobile terminal.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for receiving a downlink control signal in a wireless communication system including monitoring EPDCCH (enhanced physical downlink control channel) candidates to decode an EPDCCH in one or two EPDCCH sets on a first serving cell configured for the UE, and receiving a PDSCH (physical downlink shared channel) corresponding to the decoded EPDCCH. The EPDCCH candidates may include EPDCCH candidates for the first serving cell and EPDCCH candidates for a second serving cell scheduled by the first serving cell. Aggregation levels and the number of the EPDCCH candidates for the second serving cell at each of the aggregation levels are associated with bandwidth of the second serving cell.

    Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for performing foreign object detection in a wireless power transfer system. The present specification discloses a method comprising receiving a digital ping from the wireless power transmitter; transmitting an identification and configuration packets to the wireless power transmitter; transmitting a foreign object detection (FOD) state packet which indicates a reference Q factor of the wireless power receiver to the wireless power transmitter; and receiving wireless power through magnetic coupling from the wireless power transmitter based on the foreign object detection result of the wireless power transmitter using the reference Q factor. Irrespective of individual characteristics of a wireless power receiver, accuracy and reliability of detecting a foreign object may be improved.
