    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for capability indications by a reduced capability user equipment (UE) and UE-based performance measurement parameter reporting or self-organizing network (SON) parameter reporting based on the capability indications. A reduced capability UE may transmit a set of capabilities to a base station that indicate various types of parameter reporting that are supported at the UE. The base station may identify the UE as a reduced capability device, and set one or more reporting parameters based on the indicated UE capabilities. The base station may provide a reporting configuration to the UE with the one or more reporting parameters, and the UE may provide reporting of measured parameters (e.g., performance measurement parameter reporting or SON parameter reporting) based on the reporting configuration.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a notification of a change to multicast broadcast (MB) control information associated with at least one MB service to which the UE is subscribed, the MB control information being included in an MB control channel (MBCCH) scheduled by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication addressed to an MB radio network temporary identifier (MB-RNTI); and monitor one or more resources of the MBCCH to receive updated MB control information based at least in part on receiving the notification of the change to the MB control information.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to performing a handover on a per-data radio bearer (DRB) basis. In some examples, the disclosure is directed to indicating, to a source network entity, a make-before-break (MBB) handover capability of the UE, the MBB handover capability supporting MBB handovers for one or more DRBs identified by the source network entity. In some examples, the disclosure describes receiving, from the source network entity, configuration information for a handover from the source network entity to a target network entity, the configuration information identifying the one or more DRBs supported for the MBB handover.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first base station and a second base station may be neighbor base stations and the first base station may receive, from the second base station, information relating to a multicast-broadcast services (MBS) session context of an MBS session supported by the second base station. The first base station may use the received MBS session context information to control communication or connections between the first base station and one or more user equipment (UEs) that are served by the first base station. For example, the first base station may use the received MBS session context information for target cell selection in a handover procedure, an MBS-specific measurement configuration, interference avoidance, or system information block (SIB) construction, among various other use cases.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may determine that its operating temperature exceeds an overheating condition threshold temperature, reducing overall device performance. To address the overheating condition, the UE may transmit an uplink control message containing UE assistance information to request a reconfiguration of one or more measurement parameters. In some cases, the UE may request to reduce one or more measurements associated with radio resource management (RRM). The UE may receive a downlink control message from a base station which indicates a reconfiguration of the measurement parameters, and the UE may implement the reconfiguration to mitigate the overheating.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to mobility with consideration for network slicing are provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) transmits in a first cell frequency of a network, a request for a network slice of the network that is not provided by the first cell frequency. The UE receives, in response to the request, an information for communicating in a second cell frequency of the network that provides the requested network slice. In one embodiment, a core network entity receives, from a base station (BS) operating over a first cell frequency of a network, a request to provide a network slice of the network to a UE, the network slice not provided by the first cell frequency. The core network entity transmits, to the BS, information associated with a second cell frequency of the network providing the network slice.
