Abstract:
The object of this invention is to provide a cellular phone holder, which could easily hold a standard type cellular phone as well as a collapsible type cellular phone having different sizes, respectively. Thus cellular phone holder is comprised of a lateral case capable of holding cellular phones of different width, and a longitudinal strap belt attached in a manner so as to intersect with the lateral case. Thus lateral case is formed of a single trunk member in which the trunk member is bent into a cylindrical shape and secured by Velcro tape attached in plural portions. A ring couples thus longitudinal strap belt to a plurality of strap belts and thus, a portion of the longitudinal strap belt is structured by an elastic material.
Abstract:
A handheld electronic device configured to be operated while being held on a user's hand including a first communication unit configured to transmit first data signals to a portable electronic device via a first communication link, the portable electronic device being configured to receive the first data signals from the handheld electronic device and generate sounds or images; a second communication unit configured to receive second data signals from a remote communication device via a second communication link, wherein the first data signals transmitted to the portable electronic device are generated using the second data signals received from the remote communication device; and a control unit configured to monitor a communication condition between the first communication unit and the portable electronic device as data signals are being received from the remote communication device via the second communication link. Termination of the second communication link is initiated if the communication condition is determined to be unsatisfactory.
Abstract:
A wireless earphone with incoming call vibration function that uses a DSP to produce a driving signal to drive a vibrator for warning of the incoming call. The wireless earphone has a wireless communication module receiving a remote data signal and replying a modulation signal. A DSP is coupled to the wireless communication module, an earphone and a microphone for processing digital signal. A driving circuit is coupled to the DSP for receiving a driving signal. A is vibrator coupled to the DSP for providing an intermittent or continuous warning function according to the driving signal.
Abstract:
An electronic device, having an exterior surface, the electronic device comprising: an actuator for providing, when enabled, a first texture at a first portion of the exterior surface of the electronic device and for providing, when disabled, a second texture at the first portion of exterior surface of the electronic device; a user interface for changing the status of the electronic device from a first status to a second status; and a processor operable to enable the actuator during the first status and disable the actuator during the second status.
Abstract:
A mobile device integrates a wireless headset with the housing of a mobile terminal. In an exemplary embodiment, the housing of the mobile terminal includes a fastener for mechanically connecting the wireless headset to the housing. When the wireless headset is mechanically disconnected from the housing, a speaker and microphone associated with the wireless headset interfaces with the mobile terminal via a wireless interface. However, when the wireless headset mechanically connects to the housing, the speaker and microphone associated with the wireless headset mechanically and electrically connect to the housing and operate as the speaker and microphone for the mobile terminal. A detector circuit included in the mobile device also determines the position of the wireless headset relative to the mobile terminal, and may automatically select a wireless or electrical interface between the wireless headset and the mobile terminal based on the determined position.
Abstract:
A personal telecommunication device (100) for use as a mobile station of a digital cellular radio network comprises a keypad (105, 221) for allowing a human user to input information to the personal telecommunication device (100) and a display (103, 233) for displaying information to a human user of the personal telecommunication device (100). The personal telecommunication device (100) comprises two mechanically separate structural parts, of which a first part is a keypad part (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702) that comprises the keypad (105, 221), and a second part is an amulet (101, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601, 701, 801, 1201) that comprises the display (103, 233). The personal telecommunication device (100) comprises a short distance communication link (106, 222, 231, 322, 331, 722, 731) between the keypad part and the amulet. The amulet (101, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601, 701, 801, 1201) comprises a hanging arrangement (104) by the help of which the amulet is adapted to be worn on the torso of a human user.
Abstract:
A head worn waterproof entertainment and/or communication device comprising a first ear assembly and a second ear assembly. An interconnect device to is connected to and extends between the first ear assembly and the second ear assembly, the interconnect device being adapted to extend at least partly around the head of a user of the device. A transducer for converting an electrical signal to an auditory signal, said transducer being fixed to at least one of the first ear assembly and the second ear assembly. At least one electrical signal generator for generating said electrical signal is provided, said electrical signal generator being in communication with the transducer. The first ear assembly and the second ear assembly each comprise an upper limb and a lower limb and wherein said upper limb and the lower limb extend away from the interconnect device and are adapted to extend at least partially around the ear of the user and hold the first ear assembly and the second ear assembly in place and the transducer within or in close proximity of the ear of the user when in use.
Abstract:
A headset for communication with a device is configured for processing audio signals captured by the headset to detect user speech and transmitting, to the device, sampled representations of the captured audio signals generally only when user speech is detected.
Abstract:
A wearable audio device in the form of eyeglasses includes actuators disposed the ear stems. The actuators, which can be in the form of buttons, and/or the ear stems, are configured to enhance the comfort of the users. For example, the buttons can be disposed on the upper surface of the ear stems with the lower surface having an enlarged surface so as to allow the user to pinch the ear stem to thereby counter-balance the actuation force used to depress the button.
Abstract:
A motorcycle helmet formed from an impact resistant shell for covering and protecting the head of a user has audio receiver members mounted on the interior of the shell and has a microphone at one end of a boom within the helmet. The microphone is located for use by the user at the front of the helmet while the boom has an adapter on the end opposite the microphone. The microphone has conductors communicating with a connector which communicates with the electrical energy source and control cables. The adapter is receivable within a socket formed by a channel in an extension of one of the receiver housings so that the microphone and boom may be mounted totally within the helmet. The electrical power and control cables are connected to the microphone and the receivers by means of a quick-disconnect type connector and has a separate volume control for the microphone and for the receivers so that two motorcycle riders may adjust the audio system to their liking. The modular arrangement provided by the two connectors permit elements, if broken, to be replaced readily without replacing the entire systems.
