Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for organizing trained and untrained neural networks. In one aspect, a neural network device includes a collection of node assemblies interconnected by between-assembly links, each node assembly itself comprising a network of nodes interconnected by a plurality of within-assembly links, wherein each of the between-assembly links and the within-assembly links have an associated weight, each weight embodying a strength of connection between the nodes joined by the associated link, the nodes within each assembly being more likely to be connected to other nodes within that assembly than to be connected to nodes within others of the node assemblies.

Abstract: A multi-camera hemispherical very wide field of view imaging apparatus with omnidirectional illumination capability comprises a cylindrical body (4, 4.a, 4.b), a hemispherical mechanical frame (2) arranged on one end of the cylindrical body (4, 4.a, 4.b), a plurality of imaging channels (3), each imaging channel (3) comprising at least an image sensor and related optics with a fixed focus appropriate for endoscopic imaging, the plurality of imaging channels (3) being distributed over the hemispherical mechanical frame (2), a light source arranged center-down at a back part of the plurality of imaging channels (3) and inside or at the end of the cylindrical body (4, 4.a, 4.b). Each imaging channel (3) comprises a plurality of lightning channels (1) around their center, each of the plurality of lightning channels (1) comprising at least one microfiber light guide having a determined angle of curvature arranged to transmit the light from the light source. The imaging apparatus further comprises a control and processing circuit (5) comprising a camera control unit (6), an illumination control unit (7), an illumination unit (8), a sample and capture unit (9), an image processing unit (10) and an output interface (11) to a PC. The camera control unit (6) is configured to power each of the plurality of imaging channels (3) and make automatic gain compensation for each imaging channel (3), the illumination control unit (7) is configured for automatic intensity dimming, the sample and capture unit (9) is an interface circuit for correct sampling, extraction and capturing frames of individual imaging channels (3), the image processing unit (10) is configured for constructing a spherical panoramic image by applying a determined algorithm, and the output interface (11) is arranged to output the spherical panoramic image to a system configured to visualize it.

Abstract: The present disclosure refers to systems for electrical neurostimulation of a spinal cord of a subject in need of nervous system function support. In one example, a system comprises a signal processing device configured to receive signals from the subject and operate signal-processing algorithms to elaborate stimulation parameter settings; one or more multi-electrode arrays suitable to cover a portion of the spinal cord of the subject; and an Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) configured to receive the stimulation parameter settings from the signal processing device and simultaneously deliver independent current or voltage pulses to the one or more multiple electrode arrays, wherein the independent current or voltage pulses provide multipolar spatiotemporal stimulation of spinal circuits and/or dorsal roots. Such system advantageously enables effective control of nervous system functions in the subject by stimulating the spinal cord, such as the dorsal roots of the spinal cord, with spatiotemporal selectivity.

The method comprises: selecting a first seed media element for a first cluster of media elements, referred to hereinafter as a first adaptel; selecting a second seed media element, different from the first seed media element, for a second cluster of media elements, different from the media elements of the first adaptel, the second cluster being referred to hereinafter as a second adaptel; successively forming the first and second adaptels, starting from the first and second seed media elements, respectively, by allocating a first plurality of the media elements to the first adaptel, and then allocating a second plurality of the media elements to the second adaptel; and reallocating at least one media element of the first adaptel to the second adaptel if a dissimilarity measure between the at least one media element and the second adaptel is smaller than the dissimilarity measure between the at least one media element and the first adaptel. The second seed media element is selected from a set of the media elements neighboring the first adaptel.

The gas viscosity sensor further comprises a reference chamber system (21) comprising a reference chamber and a second resistive passage (24) fluidically interconnecting the reference chamber (22) to the gas interface portion (20), the reference chamber (22) being coupled to the pressure sensor (28) of the measuring chamber such that the pressure sensor is configured to measure a differential pressure between a pressure in the measuring chamber and a pressure in the reference chamber.
