Abstract:
The present invention provides a color mixing lens which can improve color reproducibility, be made slim and adjust an emission pattern; and a liquid crystal display device having the same. The color mixing lens includes a light receiving portion having at least two light emission diodes positioned at a side for emitting color lights different from each other and light receiving recesses for placing the light emission diodes therein respectively, a color mixing portion formed on the light receiving portion for mixing the lights from the light emission diodes into a white color light, and a light emission portion formed on the color mixing portion for emitting the white light from the color mixing portion through a side thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pouch pack having a pressure outlet formed at the time when a sealing region is thermally fused to therefore substantially reduce the amount of time required for the manufacturing process, with the pressure outlet being open precisely under pressure. A pouch pack having a pressure outlet according to the present invention comprises a main body which is formed of two opposedly facing sheets with a sealing region thermally fused in a hermetic manner by a heating pressure mold designed for thermally pressing a target sealing region and defines a storage space inside thereof; and a pressure outlet which is integrally formed on the sealing region of the main body and opens under pressure to discharge a content kept within the storage space. As a cavity is formed in a part of the heating pressure mold, only a corresponding region of the cavity experiences a reduced heating temperature and reduced pressure while the sealing region is being thermally fused, so that the pressure outlet and the sealing region can be formed at the same time. Alternatively, a recess is formed in a part of the heating pressure mold and a metallic material having a heat conductivity lower than that of the heating pressure mold is seated in the recess, so that only a corresponding part of the metallic material experiences a reduced heating temperature while the sealing region is being thermally fused so as to allow the pressure outlet and the sealing region to be formed at the same time.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for antenna matching according to a position and an angle of a portable terminal is provided. Operations of the portable terminal include, when at least one of a position and an angle of the portable terminal is changed, determining an optimal Tunable Matching Network (TMN) set value corresponding to the position and the angle, and performing antenna matching according to the optimal TMN set value.
Abstract:
A multiband built-in antenna of a portable terminal is provided. The multiband built-in antenna includes a main board having a ground area and a non-ground area on a front surface and an opposite surface, and an antenna radiator having a specific pattern directly formed on the non-ground area of the main board, wherein the antenna radiator comprises a first antenna radiator of which one end is branched off into two parts on the front surface of the main board so that one part is used for feeding and the other part is electrically connected to the ground area, and of which the other end is extended by a specific length in a widthwise direction of the terminal, and a second antenna radiator which protrudes towards the opposite surface of the main board from the other end of the first antenna radiator and is formed in a specific pattern in the non-ground area on the opposite surface of the main board.

Disclosed herein are organic memory devices and methods for fabricating such devices. The organic memory devices comprise a first electrode, a second electrode and an organic active layer extending between the first and second electrodes wherein the organic active layer is formed from one or more electrically conductive organic materials that contain heteroatoms and which are configured in such a manner as that the heteroatoms are available for linking or complexing metal atoms within the organic active layer. The metal ions may then be reduced to form metal filaments within the organic active layer to form a low resistance state and the metal filaments may, in turn, be oxidized to form a high resistance state and thereby function as memory devices.
Abstract:
An Organic Light Emitting Display (OLED) and its fabrication method has a pixel defining layer provided on a first electrode which is formed with a gas vent groove to allow gas to vent when the pixel defining layer is being formed, so that gas is not left in a pixel but vented when a donor film is laminated by a Laser-Induced Thermal Imaging (LITI) method, thereby decreasing edge open failures.
Abstract:
A speaker device for a portable terminal is provided. The device includes a case frame forming an exterior of the portable terminal, a speaker installation space provided at an inner surface of the case frame to install a speaker therein, a barrier wall formed to provide a resonance space near the speaker installation space, and a cover installed to seal the resonance space.
Abstract:
A Laser Induced Thermal Imaging (LITI) mask and an organic electroluminescent device fabrication method using the mask provides a LITI mask in which corner regions are reinforced to improve adhesive force between a receptor substrate and a transfer layer on corners of a pixel portion of the receptor substrate, and an organic electroluminescent device fabrication method using such a LITI mask.
