Abstract: In a display apparatus, a projected member is arranged in a direction in which a driver of a moving body looks while driving, from the perspective of the driver. A projecting unit projects at least one display object in a position that overlaps a background that is visible to the driver through the projected member, so as to be displayed in a superimposed manner as a virtual image. A measuring unit measures a luminance value of the background. A control unit determines a luminance value of the display object based on the luminance value of the background measured by the measuring unit, chromaticity values of the display object, and a sense of superimposition that is a value having a range of 0 or greater and 100 or less, and controls the projecting unit such that the display object is projected at the luminance value of the display object.

Abstract: A method of producing fibrous carbon nanostructures uses a fluidized bed process, and comprises supplying a source gas to a reaction site in which a supported catalyst having a particulate carrier and a catalyst supported on a surface of the carrier is fluidizing, to form fibrous carbon nanostructures on the catalyst of the supported catalyst, wherein the source gas contains a double bond-containing hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide, and a content of the carbon dioxide is 0.3 vol % or more with respect to a total volume of the source gas.

Abstract: The present invention is produced as a polymerized peptide prepared by oxidatively cross-linking collagen-like peptides having the triple-helical structure containing three peptide chains each containing multiple cysteine (Cys) residues. This polymerized peptide can be processed into a hydrogel and a thin membrane sheet before use, and is capable of imparting a particular physiological function such as cellular adhesion by incorporating functional amino acid sequences present on biological polymers. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing the abovementioned polymerized peptide and the like; and use applications employing the same, such as cell culturing, wound dressing, and compositions including regenerative medical materials and research materials.

Abstract: A cooler of the present invention is provided with a case having a top plate, a bottom plate, and a side plate, cooling fins disposed inside the case, and a flow path for cooling fluid that comes into contact with the cooling fins and that flows through the interior of the case, the cooler cooling an object to be cooled in contact with the top plate or the bottom plate. The cooling fins have a shaft part and vane parts that protrude outward from the shaft part and extend spirally in the axial direction; the overall cooling fin configuration constituting a quadrangular column shape. The cooling fins are disposed in contact with at least the top plate and the bottom plate, and the flow path has a spiral-formed configuration formed by the vane parts, the top plate, and the bottom plate.

Abstract: An analysis method and a diagnostic device, enabling one to determine whether a longitudinal melanonychia is caused by a malignant melanoma or a benign nevus by correcting color variation in a dermoscopic image through standardization of color balance without depending on an imaging device or an operator; and a computer program for allowing a computer to function as the diagnostic device. Proposed is a structure including: an image reading step of reading a color image of a longitudinal melanonychia or an affected skin site of a subject as a digital color image; an image processing step involving an image size conversion step of converting the whole size of the digital color image into a preset size through pixel size conversion, and a region of interest (ROI)-extraction step of extracting an ROI required for the diagnosis from the digital color image; a chromatic adaptation transformation step of controlling the color balance of the digital color image data through chromatic adaptation transformation; and a discrimination index (DI) calculation step of determining a DI value using the image after the chromatic adaptation transformation.

Abstract: A highly thermally conductive printed circuit board prevents electrochemical migration by inhibiting elution of copper ions. The printed circuit board is a metal-base printed circuit board including a metal base plate having an insulating resin layer and a copper foil layer stacked thereon in this order. In the printed circuit board, the insulating resin layer contains a first inorganic filler made of inorganic particles having particle diameters of 0.1 nm to 600 nm with an average particle diameter (D50) of 1 nm to 300 nm, and a second inorganic filler made of inorganic particles having particle diameters of 100 nm to 100 μm with an average particle diameter (D50) of 500 nm to 20 μm, and the first inorganic filler and the second inorganic filler are uniformly dispersed in the insulating resin layer.

Abstract: A torque limiter 10 includes an input unit 11 connected to a driving device M on input side, and an output unit 12 connected to a robot arm A on output side. The input unit 11 and the output unit 12 include a coupling structure in which the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 approach and recede from each other so as to enable switching of a connecting state where the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 are connected to each other and a non-connecting state where the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 are not connected to each other, through adjustment of magnetic force therebetween. The coupling structure includes an electromagnet 17 that enables adjustment of the magnetic force through adjustment of an application voltage.
