Abstract: In an example method, a user equipment (UE) device determines an offset length of time associated with transmitting or receiving data over a wireless network. The UE device transmits an indication of the offset length of time to the wireless network. The UE device transmits or receives, during a second time interval, a second portion of data to or from the wireless network though a second wireless link. An end of first time interval is offset from a beginning of the second time interval by the offset length of time.

A user equipment device may be configured to receive, from a network, an indication of a paging occasion via a PG-RNTI and/or via at least 6 bits of a DCI. The UE may be configured to monitor the paging occasion based on the value of the PG-RNTI and receive, during the paging occasion, a paging indication via at least six bits of a DCI, where each bit of the at least six bits may indicate a paging indication for a particular set of UEs and the particular set of UEs may be a subset of the set of UEs. The UE may also be configured to, in response to determining that the UE has a paging message, decode a corresponding PDSCH.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To monitor a PDCCH for CA, a UE may receive PDCCH candidates in a plurality of configured component carriers (CCs). In response to a determination that a maximum number of virtual CCs that the UE is capable of monitoring for PDCCH is smaller than a number of the plurality of configured CCs, the UE groups the plurality of configured CCs into CC groups based at least in part on SCS numerologies and PDCCH monitoring configurations corresponding to span patterns within a slot of a DL subframe. The UE determines a maximum number of blind decoding operations and non-overlapped CCEs for each of the CC groups. The UE then monitors at least a first portion of the PDCCH candidates based on the maximum number of blind decoding operations and non-overlapped CCEs for each of the CC groups.
