Abstract:
In a first aspect the present invention relates to a pellet mill (10) comprising a die (30) having a first surface (34) and a second surface (36), the die further comprising press holes (38) extending from the first surface to the second surface, at least one roller (50) configured to roll over the first surface for forcing a pelletizable material, forming a feed layer (2) on the first surface, through the press holes to the second surface, and a nozzle (82) configured to provide an additive fluid (4) directly into the nip (86) between the at least one roller and the first surface. In a second aspect the present invention relates to a method of producing pellets, and in a third aspect the present invention related to method of retrofitting a pellet mill.
Abstract:
An apparatus for producing pellets from bulk material, in particular soft bulk material provided with meltable fractions, for example waste, plastics material or household refuse. The apparatus includes an annular die in which there are radially oriented pressing channels that extend from an inner surface of the annular die to an outer surface of the annular die. The annular die has a horizontal rotation axis passing through the midpoint thereof and is configured to be drivable in a rotation direction by a drive unit, and the annular die bounds a compression chamber, and has at least one working koller wheel, arranged in the compression chamber, for compressing and pressing the bulk material to be pelletized into the pressing channels. The apparatus can have a first and a second machine body, with the two machine bodies separable in the direction of the horizontal rotation axis of the annular die. The annular die is mounted in the first machine body and the at least one working koller wheel is mounted in the second machine body.
Abstract:
A cutting-to-length device for a pellet press has at least one cutting-to-length means for biogenic fibrous pellets, especially wood pellets, and a fastening area, in which the cutting-to-length device can be fastened to a stationary housing part of the pellet press. The cutting-to-length means can be arranged in the radially outer area of a rotation annular die of the pellet press and at a distance from the annular die which has radial through-holes. The cutting-to-length mechanism has a concave arched contour and is attached on the radially outer area of the annular die by means of the fastening area so that the cutting-to-length mechanism extends largely helically with its curvilinear contour over the area of the radial through-holes of the annular die. Furthermore, the invention refers to a pellet press with at least one such cutting-to-length device.
Abstract:
A computer-based ordering system for ordering goods and services includes a plurality of self-service client terminals and a server. Each self-service client terminal runs a self-order application including a set of interactive menu screens having buttons that allow the customer to select and customize products for the order. An administration tool application communicates with the server to administer the self-service client terminals. The administration tool application including a menu editor that enables the administrator to create and edit the interactive menu screens provided by the self-order application at the self-service client terminals. The menu editor accesses a library of menu templates containing predefined groupings of buttons, and uses the menu templates, as directed by the administrator, during creation and editing of the interactive menu screens.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a cutting-to-length device (13; 14; 15; 16) for a pellet press (1) with at least one cutting-to-length means (19) for biogenic fibrous pellets (11), especially wood pellets, and at least one fastening area (17), in which the cutting-to-length device (13; 14; 15; 16) can be fastened in such a way to a stationary housing part (2) of the pellet press (1) that the cutting-to-length means (19) can be arranged in the radially outer area of a pivoted annular die (4) of the pellet press (1) and at a distance from said pivoted annular die (4) which has radial through-holes (5). According to the invention, the cutting-to-length means (19) has a concave arched contour (21) and can be attached in such a way on the radially outer area of the annular die (4) by means of the fastening area (17), that the cutting-to-length means (19) extends largely helically with its curvilinear contour (21) over at least the area of one of the radial through-holes (5) of the annular die (4). Furthermore, the invention refers to a pellet press (1) with at least one such cutting-to-length device (13; 14; 15; 16).
Abstract:
A pelletizing device comprising a rotary drivable at least partly cylindrical die, wherein the cylindrical part comprises a multitude of radial openings for forming of pellets and at least one roller rotatable around a stationary shaft, for pressing of material to be pelletized through the radial openings in the die, wherein the roller is mounted to the corresponding stationary shaft by means of at least one roller bearing and wherein the pelletizing device comprises an oil circulation system for lubricating each of the roller bearings of each of the rollers with oil.
