Abstract:
A removable door check device for use for use with a door hinge for holding a vehicle door in an opened position. The removable door check device includes a body, a first contact element extending from the body and having a first contacting surface, and a second contact element extending from the body and having a second contacting surface facing the first contacting surface. The first and second contacting surfaces are moveable with respect to each other to permit release of the door check device. In addition, a door hinge includes a first hinge part, a second hinge part pivotally connected to the first hinge part, and a removable door check device. The removable door check device includes a first contact element having a first contacting surface configured to engage the first hinge part and a second contact element having a second contacting surface facing the first contacting surface and configured to engage the second hinge part when the door hinge is in the opened position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a damping apparatus for moving furniture parts, for example doors, flaps or drawers. Such a damping apparatus of a compact construction which avoids a possible springing back movement of the furniture parts is provided in accordance with the invention in that the damping apparatus has at least two damping stages each having a cylinder having a piston longitudinally displaceable therein which exert a damping action of different strengths.
Abstract:
A drive mechanism (14) for enabling driving and manual movement of a sliding side door (12). The assembly (14) has a track assembly (16) mounted to a vehicle body (10) at a predetermined height and a drive mechanism (18) mounted to the sliding side door (12) so as to be proximate to a door latching mechanism (19). The drive mechanism (18) has an input drive motor (22) driving an output gear assembly (24) engaging the track assembly (16) and a transmission gear assembly (23) with a sliding gear (50) which selectively couples the input drive motor (22) and an input gear assembly (23) to the output gear assembly (24) between an engaged position for driving movement or disengaged position for manual movement of the sliding side door (12). In this way, the slide side door (12) may be moved manually between open and closed positions without having to overcome the effort required of rotating the drive motor (22).
Abstract:
An electrically operated actuator (10) for a slideable door (8) of a motor vehicle (6) includes a planetary gear set (12) having a sun gear (22), a number of pinion gears (24) rotatably mounted on a planet carrier (26) and interengaging with the sun gear, and a ring gear (28) interengaging with the pinion gears, the sun gear, planet carrier and ring gear being rotatable about an axis (A). An electrical motor (14) is connected to the ring gear to rotate the ring gear about the axis and an electrically actuated brake (16) is connected to the sun gear to brake rotation of the sun gear about the axis. A cable drum (18) is rotatably driven by the planet carrier (26). A cable (20) is wound around the cable drum and connected to the slidable door.
Abstract:
A running carriage arrangement (1) includes a housing receptacle (5) and a housing (9) embedded in it. The running carriage (7) can be vertically shifted within the housing (9). The shifting of the running carriage (7) is accomplished by an adjusting wheel (39), which can be rotated by hand and by which the running carriage (7) can be adjusted relative to the housing (9) and the sliding door (3).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for assembling and holding a mobile element of a system driving a mobile closure, in a housing made in a pre-formed plate. The mobile element is assembled and held in the housing by means of at least one pliable tongue.
Abstract:
A vehicle door hinge-mounted prop clip for a vehicle hinge with split pins, comprises first and second interference lobes defining a undulating circumferential edge, said interference lobes being adapted to sequentially releasably contact a portion of the hinge as the door is rotated about first and second axial hinge pins from a closed position to an open position, said contact releasably compressing said interference lobes severally or simultaneously and generating sufficient frictional resistance to releasably hold the door in a partially or fully open position.
Abstract:
An assembly for use with a vehicle sliding door 12 which includes a first wheel 24, which is movably disposed within a first track 40 located on the vehicle and having a ramped portion 44, and a second wheel 32 which is movably disposed within a second track 60. The assembly includes a brake pad 62, which is disposed within the second track 60, which frictionally engages the second wheel 32, and which cooperates with the ramped portion 44 to hold door 12 in an open position.
Abstract:
A transmission assembly for a powered sliding door system for an automotive vehicle. The transmission assembly includes a rotatable input member, a stationary hub, and a planetary gearset disposed within the hub and operatively cooperating with the input member. The transmission assembly also includes an electromagnetic brake disposed within the hub and operatively cooperating with the planetary gearset to lock and unlock a gear of the planetary gearset. The transmission assembly further includes a rotatable output member operatively cooperating with the planetary gearset.
Abstract:
A tool holder for holding a tool on a hinge plate of a deck lid of a motor vehicle. The tool holder has a body in the form of a collar made of two separate parts secured together by screws. The body parts cooperate in defining a recess shaped to retain the tool when the body parts are secured together but to release the tool when the body parts are separated. A generally L-shaped bracket projects from the body and, with the body, defines a channel for receiving a flange on the hinge plate. A hanger has a cylinder secured to the bracket. A slide bar mounted in the cylinder moves from a retracted position to an extended position across the channel. In its extended position, the slide bar extends through a hole in the hinge flange to suspend the tool holder. The body of the tool holder also has a magnet for contacting the hinge plate to magnetically hold the tool holder on the hinge plate.
