Abstract:
The display screen unit of a cell phone or PDA is carried in a mounting frame, which is bolted into the casing. The screen unit is sandwiched between cushioning layers of foam. The screen unit can move laterally, relative to the mounting frame, putting the foam in shear, in response to an edge or corner impact. Springy tabs are bent up from the metal backing plate of the screen unit, and these springy tabs serve to cushion the impact of the screen unit against the mounting frame, in response to the edge or corner impact, leading to a marked improvement in drop test performance. As a production-line benefit, the springy tabs also permit the screen unit to rest on the lip of the mounting frame, enabling the screen unit to be accurately positioned in the mounting frame just before the screen unit is finally pressed down into contact with the securing adhesive.
Abstract:
A backlight module is provided. The backlight module includes a frame, a reflector and a holding structure for holding the reflector on the frame. The frame has a first through hole and the reflector has a second through hole. The reflector is disposed on the frame. The holding structure includes a first clamp portion, a second clamp portion and a shaft portion. The shaft portion is used for connecting the first clamp portion and the second clamp portion. The first clamp portion and the second clamp portion are used for clamping the reflector and the frame when the shaft portion is inserted into the first through hole and the second through hole.
Abstract:
A direct-light illuminating unit has a frame on which a plurality of U-shaped lamps and a plurality of light shade devices are mounted. The frame has a window region and a margin region. The lamps each have two straight portions and a connection portion. The lamps have the straight portions and the connection portions arranged in the window region of the frame. The light shade device has a top mask extended over the connection portions of the lamps respectively. The top masks have a predetermined transparency to shade a part of the light provided from the connection portions of the lamps respectively.
Abstract:
An LCD module and LCD apparatus is provided capable of preventing a chassis from being damaged by an external impact and reducing a number of parts of an LCD apparatus having the LCD module and a number of assembling processes. The LCD apparatus comprises a clip disposed between a receiving container and a chassis by a screw. The screw is engaged to the receiving container passing through the chassis and clip. The clip may be provided to opposite and portions of the receiving container to reinforce the strength of the chassis.
Abstract:
In a liquid-crystal module equipped with a frame, a bezel, and a liquid-crystal panel, the frame includes groove sections. Each of the groove sections has an upper portion formed into an essentially-semicircular shape conforming to an outer peripheral shape of a cylindrical insert nut provided on a side surface of a bezel, and a circular-arc bulging portion provided on at least one side surface of the groove section such that a distance between the bulging portion and an opposing side surface becomes smaller than an outer diameter of the insert nut. Further, the plurality of groove sections are provided at predetermined intervals so as to penetrate from an exterior surface to an interior surface of the frame.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display (LCD) device, comprising, a display panel having pixels arranged in a matrix configuration, a main supporter supporting a rear edge and a side of the display panel, a top case coupled to a side of the main supporter and pressing an upper edge of the display panel, and a lower cover supporting a backlight assembly coupled to the side of the main supporter and having at least one guide supporting the side of the main supporter.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display has a mold frame divided into several parts. The liquid crystal display device includes a display unit for displaying an image, a back light assembly having a light source for generating a light, a light guiding plate for guiding the light, and a light focusing portion for focusing the light, and a mold frame divided into a first frame and a second frame. The mold frame receives the display unit and the back light assembly. The first frame receives the light guiding plate and the light focusing portion and the second frame receives the light source. A reflection sheet is integrally formed at an inner surface of the second frame so as to perform the function of a lamp reflector. Accordingly, a lamp cover is not required so that the number of parts and the manufacturing cost are reduced. A lamp can be exchanged by simply separating the second frame from the mold frame, so the fault of the light source caused by the friction with other elements is reduced when exchanging the lamp.
Abstract:
A frame structure and a grounding structure of a liquid crystal module are disclosed. The frame structure is adapted for fixedly securing a flexible printed circuit board and a control printed circuit board on the frame, wherein the flexible printed circuit board is electrically connected to a liquid crystal display panel and the control printed circuit board is electrically connected to the flexible printed circuit board. The grounding structure is adapted for fixedly securing a grounding copper foil on a metal bezel.
Abstract:
In a flat panel display device, a display panel for displaying an image is disposed on a mold frame and supported by a metal clip coupled to the mold frame. The metal clip includes a first coupling portion coupled to an upper surface of the mold frame, a second coupling portion coupled to a lower surface of the mold frame, a connecting portion for connecting the first and second coupling portions and a guiding portion upwardly extended from the connecting portion so as to guide and support the display panel. Accordingly, the flat panel display device can have a reduced size and an enhanced assemblability.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display unit for displaying images, and a case in which the liquid crystal display unit is installed, the case being formed with an opening through which the liquid crystal display unit is slid into and out of the case.
