Abstract: Traversing a vehicle transportation network includes operating a scenario-specific operational control evaluation module instance. The scenario-specific operational control evaluation module instance includes an instance of a scenario-specific operational control evaluation model of a distinct vehicle operational scenario. Operating the scenario-specific operational control evaluation module instance includes identifying a multi-objective policy for the scenario-specific operational control evaluation model. The multi-objective policy may include a relationship between at least two objectives. Traversing the vehicle transportation network includes receiving a candidate vehicle control action associated with each of the at least two objectives. Traversing the vehicle transportation network includes selecting a vehicle control action based on a buffer value. Traversing the vehicle transportation network includes performing the selected vehicle control action, determining a preference indicator for each objective, and updating the multi-objective policy.

Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed that includes an accessory separating a cargo area from a passenger seating area and a mounting system that is configured to support the accessory. The mounting system includes a first bracket that is secured to a body panel of the vehicle and a second bracket that is connected to the first bracket. The first bracket is positioned between the body panel and a headliner of the vehicle such that the first bracket is concealed by the headliner. The second bracket is configured for connection to the accessory and extends through an opening in the headliner such that a first section of the second bracket is concealed by the headliner and a second section of the second bracket is exposed from the headliner, whereby the headliner is movable relative to and about the second bracket upon deployment of an airbag so as to reduce interference therewith.

Abstract: A tire pressure monitoring system includes tire pressure sensors installed within vehicle tires, a receiver, an alerting device, an electronic input/output device and an electronic controller. The receiver receives tire pressure signals from the tire pressure sensors, The electronic input/output device provides manual input of instruction and data. The electronic controller is configured to monitor tire pressure and in response to tire pressure in each of vehicle tires achieving a change from a first preset tire pressure to a second preset tire pressure the alerting device is operated to alert a person changing the tire pressure that the change has been achieved. The first preset tire pressure corresponds to paved road driving conditions and the second preset tire pressure corresponds to off-road driving conditions.
