    Abstract: A window regulator for moving a window glass up or down so as to open or close a window of an automotive vehicle door having two guide rails substantially vertically disposed and horizontally spaced in parallel with each other and two sliding members secured to the window glass and mounted on the two guide rails, respectively, for sliding movement. One of the two sliding members is vertically spaced above the other of the two sliding members and caused to slidingly move up or down along the guide rail, thereby moving the window glass up or down so as to close or open the window of the automotive vehicle door.

    Abstract: In a guiding device for a vertically adjustable window pane of vehicle doors, two holding parts, which each have an upper and a lower sliding block and are spaced away from one another, are provided at a lower edge of the window pane, these holding parts being in operative connection with U-profiled tracks of guide rails mounted in the door body. So that, for framelessly guided window panes having a pronounced lateral drop with respect to the door body located underneath, a guiding device is provided which, while it has a simple construction, ensures a functionally appropriate holding of the window pane in all positions, two tracks are constructed at each guide rail. The upper sliding block interacts with the first track, and the lower sliding block interacts with the second track. The tracks of one guide rail and the two sliding blocks of each holding piece are arranged at opposite longitudinal sides of a common connecting web of the guide rail extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a door framing system for a barn door or the like wherein a plurality of horizontal and vertical frame members are joined together to define a generally rectilinear frame structure. All of the frame members are fabricated from substantially U-shaped channel members of similar cross-section, such that they may be cut from stock material of said U-shaped cross-section. Corner joining brackets are employed which include a pair of transversely disposed base sections, with spaced side flanges extending from each said base section to provide a U-shaped surface configuration which will embrace the outer side faces of the frame members. The brackets including clamping means for coupling the brackets to the respective frame members. There is also disclosed various bracing structures for such a door frame construction, as well as various hardware for effecting hanging of the door, guiding of the door with respect to a building structure and stop means for maintaining the door in the proper closed position.

    Abstract: A sliding door is constructed with a rectangular metal framework of C-frame channel rail sections joined at their corners. A plurality of vertically spaced horizontal reinforcing struts join the frame side rails. The top rail of the door is slidingly hung from a track by hangers including hanger brackets. The bottom frame rail is held in position by a guide track. A thin siding panel and other structure is secured to the front flanges of the framework. Twisting of the top rail, caused by the forwardly offset weight of the front mounted structure including the siding panel, is prevented by braces connected between the top rail rear flange immediately adjacent the hanger brackets and the rear flange of the next lowermost horizontal strut. Wind-caused twisting of the bottom rail and resultant disengagement from its guide track is prevented by braces connected between the rear flanges of the bottom rail and the next uppermost horizontal strut.
