Abstract: A recycled cellulose raw material and a method for recycling a cellulose raw material from blended textile waste with high reliability and yielding high raw material quality is shown, the method comprising the steps in the given order: providing the blended textile waste containing at least one cellulose component and at least one synthetic polymer component, treating the blended textile waste in a non-oxidizing aqueous treatment medium in order to degrade the at least one synthetic polymer component, whereby the treatment is carried out at a temperature between 100° C. and 200° C., and obtaining the recycled cellulose raw material from the treated blended textile waste.

Abstract: A thermally bonded filtration media that can be used in high temperature conditions in the absence of any loss of fiber through thermal effects or mechanical impact on the fiber components is disclosed. The filter media can be manufactured and used in a filter unit or structure, can be placed in a stream of removable fluid, and can remove a particulate load from the mobile stream at an increased temperature range. The combination of bi-component fiber, other filter media fiber, and other filtration additives provides an improved filtration media having unique properties in high temperature, high performance applications.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a woven textile fabric, the fabric including: a warp yarn with a yarn count of 20s to 60s comprising a blend of a cotton, a recycled cotton and a recycled polyester; and a weft yarn with a yarn count of 20s to 60s comprising a blend of a cotton, a recycled cotton and a recycled polyester, wherein the total content of the recycled cotton in the fabric is at least about 15%, further wherein said fabric exhibits rating of 3 or above when the fabric is tested for pilling after 1000 rubs. The advantageous fabric realized in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure has excellent wrinkle resistance, high tensile strength, and low pilling.

Abstract: Fibers, yarns, woven fabric including the yarns and fibers, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. Fibers can include base material staple fibers and dissolvable or water-soluble fibers that are mixed together to define an ultra-homogenous yarn comprising base material and dissolvable material, which is provided in at least the warp direction to form a woven fabric having a 7-end, 8-end or 10-end sateen weave. A processing step provides for the removal of the dissolvable fibers to produce a yarn defining a plurality of pores that are uniformly distributed throughout the structure of the yarn. The woven fabric has a thread count between 450-1200. The woven fabric is thermally-insulative, breathable and moisture-wicking.
