Abstract:
A hinge for controlling the movement of a door on a refrigerator is disclosed, the hinge allowing the refrigerator to be installed flush to adjacent cabinets. The door translates and rotates in order to allow access to the refrigerator cabinet interior without contacting the adjacent cabinets.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a driving system for an automatic sliding door. The driving system includes a driver and a rack and pinion mechanism. The pinion is adapted to cause sliding movement of the door in a first or second direction when operatively connected to a corresponding rack associated with the door. The pinion is selectively attachable to the driver in two positions: (a) a first position in order to cause sliding movement of the door in the first direction; and (b) a second position in order to cause sliding movement of the door in the second direction. The present invention also relates to a device for indicating whether a driving system is suitable for driving a sliding door. The device includes a first end, a region including one or more calibrations; and a second end. The first end is adapted to be pulled by a user. The second end is adapted to be selectively and detachably attached to one of the calibrations. The region is located between the first end and the second end.
Abstract:
An apparatus for closing a locker, which can be lowered, of a baggage compartment, in particular of an overhead baggage compartment in an aircraft, wherein the locker is connected in an actuating element (5) which is held on a frame (1) such that it can rotate or pivot, and is connected to a gas compression spring (18) in order to assist a closing movement of the locker. In order to allow a completely automatic closing movement, the invention proposes that an electromechanical hybrid drive is provided in order to drive the actuating element (5) and, in addition to the mechanical component of the gas compression spring (18), has an electrical drive apparatus (12) as an electrical component.
Abstract:
A door checker for an automobile includes: a case fixed to one of a body and a door of the automobile; a check lever movably penetrating the case, oscillatably axis-supported by the other of the body and the door, and provided with a rack on one side face; a pinion meshed with the rack and rotatably housed in the case; a movable shoe housed in the case so that the movable shoe can be engaged with and disengaged from a tooth portion of the pinion; and a check spring for biasing the movable shoe in the direction of engagement with the pinion. The door is held at an arbitrary opening degree by an engaging force of the movable shoe with the pinion due to a biasing force of the check spring. Thus, it is possible to easily set a large number of steps in an opening degree for holding the door.
Abstract:
A position detection arrangement for a functional element (1) which can be positioned motor-driven in a motor vehicle, a drive arrangement (2) being coupled via a drive train (3) to the functional element (1) and the functional element (1) thus being positionable by a motor (4), there being a measuring unit (5) which is assigned to the drive train (3) and which includes a sensor unit (6) and a gearing with a drive side and a driven side, the drive side being assigned to the drive train (3) and the driven side being assigned to the sensor unit (6). It is suggested that the gearing is realized as a tumble gearing (7) with a tumbler gear (8) and a ring gear (9).
Abstract:
A door driving apparatus includes a rotary actuator, a rotary transmission member integrally fixed to an output shaft extending from the rotary actuator, and a pair of linear transmission members opposed to each other via the rotary transmission member. The linear transmission members are configured to be in mesh with the rotary transmission member and to move approximately parallel to each other in opposite directions.
Abstract:
A vehicle decklid system uses a planetary gear drive to move a decklid relative to a vehicle body. The planetary gear drive includes a rotatable gear that is disposed between two fixed gears. One fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the decklid and one fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the vehicle body. A rotating link connects centers of the rotatable gear and two fixed gears. The combination of the planetary gear drive and rotating link make it possible to provide powered complex, two-dimensional motion of the decklid requiring a four-bar linkage.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door drive for garage, garden, hall or factory doors, comprising a motor unit which comprises a drive motor and a motor output shaft, an output transmission, which on the input end can be connected with the motor output shaft and on the output end includes a transmission output shaft for driving a door moving element, in particular a door shaft, a release clutch for releasing the motor output shaft with respect to the door moving element as well as at least one damping element for damping drive shocks. In accordance with the invention, the door drive is characterized in that the output transmission includes a transmission housing formed separate from the motor unit and together with the release clutch and the damping element forms a separate, modular drive attachment, which can be connected on the one hand to the motor unit and on the other hand to the door moving element.
Abstract:
An Improved garage door opener wherein a motor is coupled to the drive shaft of the door at upper side with gear attached to the drive shaft thereof to operate the garage door and a clutch mechanism is provided to move the gear from engaging location to allow the door to be manually opened or closed. This invention results in a quieter environment both in garage and in the room above garage and a substantial simplification over current garage door openers which require a rail and trolley mechanism for opening and closing the door. No extra space required for this opener.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an overhead door closer with slide arm assembly having a toothed pinion that is eccentrically supported and presents a circular rolling curve, which pinion meshes with a toothed rack arranged at a piston. The invention concentrates on a particular embodiment of the rolling curve and of the teeth of the toothed rack in adaptation to a toothing of the pinion. Furthermore, the invention concentrates on an improved embodiment of the delayed closing operation in order to achieve an optimized movement pattern of the piston within the housing of the overhead door closer with slide arm assembly.
