Abstract:
A code division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communication system with improvements to permit stable reception with a minimum of bit error. The system comprises a voltage-controlled oscillator for supplying a carrier to a radio frequency quadrature demodulator, and a frequency controller for detecting a frequency error from a phase correction signal of the first step to generate a control signal that controls the oscillator. The frequency controller includes an extracting circuit and an integrating circuit. The extracting circuit extracts a phase change based on the frequency error derived from the phase correction signal of the first step and from a signal preceding that signal by a predetermined delay time. The integrating circuit integrates the phase change and outputs the integrated result as the control signal. The predetermined delay time is preferably set within a range not exceeding the delay time needed for averaging by an averaging circuit that receives the phase correction signal of the first step and outputs a phase correction signal. The carrier to a radio frequency quadrature modulator is preferably supplied from the voltage-controlled oscillator.
Abstract:
A radio communication system having a base station and a plurality of radio terminals, wherein each radio terminal having a transmission request transmits a reservation packet at arbitrary timing through a reservation channel in accordance with a CDMA scheme, and the base station assigns a traffic channel and a time slot to be used to each radio terminal requesting a reservation through a reply packet outputted onto a reply channel. On the reservation channel, a short spreading code corresponding to a matched filter is applied.
Abstract:
A sheet feeding apparatus including a movable sheet supporting device for supporting a sheet, a sheet feeding device urged against the sheet supported by the sheet supporting device and adapted to rotate in a sheet feeding direction to feed the sheet, a feeding device disposed at a downstream side of the sheet feeding device in the sheet feeding direction and adapted to feed the sheet fed from the sheet feeding device, a separating roller adapted to rotate in a sheet restoring direction to restore the sheet fed from the sheet feeding device, a drive transmitting device for stopping rotation of the sheet feeding device toward the sheet feeding direction before a leading end of the sheet fed out from the sheet supporting device by the sheet feeding device reaches the feeding device and then for rotating the sheet feeding device in the sheet feeding direction again, and a pressing and retracting device for moving the sheet supporting device which abutted the sheet against the sheet feeding device before the leading end of the sheet fed out from the sheet supporting device by the sheet feeding device reaches the feeding device, thereby effecting the abutment-releasing between the sheet feeding device and the sheet.
Abstract:
A spread spectrum receiver having a smaller circuit scale is accomplished by a circuit construction wherein the number of taps is set to a number smaller than a spread factor, and a cyclic accumulation process for determining a correlation value of one symbol is executed by a circuit construction using an input sequence register block in common with an addition block of a spread spectrum receiver by MF according to the prior art.
Abstract:
Before transmitting an upward traffic packet of a long code, a mobile terminal sends a short packet including a short code to a reservation channel. A base station measures delay of each packet by an initial acquisition circuit to establish chip synchronization timing and a packet de-multiplexer to separate from each other packets overlapped in time with each other. When spreading the long-code packet transmitted via a traffic channel from the mobile terminal, information of the measured delay time is synchronously despread by setting a coefficient at an appropriate point of timing to a matched filter.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode structure formed on a III-V semiconductor element and a method for manufacturing the same. One object of the invention is to provide an electrode which exibits a high wire bonding strength, a low ohmic contact resistance, and high reliability, while still being easy to process in to desired shapes. The electrode structure is formed by annealing the structure after the formation of a laminated structure having an ohmic layer including at least nickel formed on the III-V compound semiconductor element, a bonding layer to be connected to a bonding wire, a stopper layer provided between the ohmic layer and the bonding layer, and an isolation layer provided between the stopper layer and the ohmic layer.
Abstract:
A node apparatus is used in a communication network having a multi-conjunction architecture. The communication network has a plurality of transmission paths each coupling one node apparatus to another node apparatus or a terminal device. The node apparatus generally comprises an input port, an output port, and a control part for controlling the coupling of input channels of the input port to output channels of the output port. The control part couples a first receiving input channel which receives a signal first out of the input channels to all of the output channels excluding an output channel having a channel number corresponding to that of the first receiving input channel, so as to broadcast the signal.
