Abstract:
A system for monitoring safety-relevant functions of a door closer for the leaf of a door being used in particular as a fire protection barrier, of a window, or the like comprises a sensor system associated with the door closer for detecting predefinable operating variables of the door closer and a control and/or evaluation device connected to the sensor system for monitoring compliance with predefinable safety functions of the door closer on the basis of the operating variables detected by the sensor system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a piece of furniture, comprising a furniture body, a two-part furniture flap having a first flap part, preferably arranged at the top in the assembled position, and a second flap part, preferably arranged at the bottom in the assembled position, and at least one supporting device for the furniture flap, wherein the supporting device is connected to the furniture body and the furniture flap in an articulated manner, wherein the supporting device has a transmission part, which is arranged on the inside of the first flap part and defines the setting angle of the second flap part to the first flap part according to the setting angle of the first flap part.
Abstract:
In a design method of torsion bars used for a trunk lid, free shapes of the torsion bars unhitched from the trunk lid are designed. A center line model of the initial free shape is geometrically and statically created on the basis of a design specification. The center line model of an open shape is created from the free shape model and is deformed into a center line model of a closed modified shape. The center line models of the analyzed closed shape and the target closed shape is compared with each other to obtain a difference torque and a difference vector occurring between corresponding nodes on the center lines. The center line model is so changed as to decrease the difference torque and the difference vector.
Abstract:
An actuating drive for moving a movable furniture part, including at least one actuating arm pivotally mounted about a pivoting axis for moving the movable furniture part, a spring device for applying a force to the actuating arm, and a transmission mechanism for transmitting a force of the spring device to the actuating arm. The transmission mechanism includes an actuating portion motionally coupled to the actuating arm, a setting contour arranged on the actuating portion, and a pressure portion pressurized by the spring device. The pressure portion is displaceable along the setting contour upon a movement of the actuating arm. An adjustment device is provided by which a position of the setting contour relative to the actuating portion can be adjusted.
Abstract:
A hinge comprises a hinge part, which can be secured on a door of the shutter and is mounted on a side part such that it can be pivoted via a carrying lever and a guide lever, also comprises at least one spring, by means of which the hinge part, in a self-retracting region of the hinge, is prestressed into a closed position, and further comprises a linear damper with a piston rod, which can be moved relative to a damper housing and is intended for damping a closing and/or opening movement of the hinge part, wherein a deflecting element is provided, said deflecting element being mounted on the side part such that it can be rotated about an axis and being arranged between the damper and the guide lever so that, during a closing movement of the hinge part, it moves the damper in order to generate a damping force, wherein, during an opening movement of the hinge part, the deflecting element moves the damper in order to generate a damping force before the fully open position of the hinge part has been reached. This makes it possible to avoid hard impact of a door in the opening direction.
Abstract:
A system for a vehicle includes: a door; an electric actuating motor that opens and closes the door, the electric actuating motor configured for actuating at a hinge of the door; a push-open actuator mounted at a rear of the door, the push-open actuator configured for pushing against a body of the vehicle; and a wireless device configured for communications to the vehicle. A system for a vehicle includes: a front door; a rear door behind the front door, the rear door having a dual-hinge design that opens and closes in a substantially vertical direction; an electric actuating motor that opens and closes the front door, the electric actuating motor configured for actuating at a hinge of the front door; and a wireless device configured for communications to the vehicle.
Abstract:
A door closer, comprising a door closer housing mounted to one of a door frame or a door surface and a linkage arm for pivoting the door between open and closed positions. The linkage arm has a first and second end, the first end mounted to the other of the door frame or the door surface. The door closer includes a rotatable connector between the linkage arm and the door closer housing, the linkage arm second end engaging with the rotatable connector. The connector has a rotatable body portion and head protrusion substantially secured in a female receptor to transmit rotation about a longitudinal axis of the connector. One or both of the head protrusion or female receptor has a curved profile and is further movable with respect to the head protrusion to permit limited rotational misalignment of the linkage arm on any axis perpendicular to the connector longitudinal axis.
Abstract:
A support arm for a sliding door of a mobile platform may include a first housing slidably attached to the mobile platform proximate to an opening of the mobile platform and a second housing attached to the sliding door of the mobile platform and to the first housing. The second housing may be moveable relative to the first housing between a retracted state and an extended state.
Abstract:
A door arrangement for an aircraft interior and an aircraft with such door arrangement, including a frame portion and a door blade hinged to the frame portion and pivotable between a closed position, where the door blade closes a door opening, and an open position, where the door blade allows access. The door arrangement includes a lever arm and an actuator mounted to the frame portion and operable to selectively move the door blade between the open and closed positions via the lever arm engaging the door blade and the actuator. The actuator is movable into a first actuator position and into a second actuator position. The actuator is movable into the second actuator position such that the door blade is able to move from the closed position towards the open position independent of the actuator while the actuator remains in the second actuator position.
