Abstract:
A machine tool includes: a spindle head; a spindle rotatably supported on the spindle head; a chuck unit configured to chuck a tool inserted in an axis direction of the spindle; a tool holder configured to hold the tool attached to the chuck unit; and a rotary arm configured to move the tool holder to a reachable position of the spindle. The tool holder is supported on the rotary arm by a support mechanism, and the support mechanism includes a displacement following mechanism configured to support the tool holder on the rotary arm in a manner to be capable of displacing the tool holder in a direction intersecting an axis of the tool.
Abstract:
A machine tool (2) comprising a mobile table (11) and a support and gripping device (200) fitted to one said machine tool (2) and which comprises:—pincer means (210) for blocking the part;—a support (250) which contains and supports the pincer means (210) and is blocked to the mobile table (11). The pincer means (210) comprise a part blocking pincer (212) and an intermediate pincer (211), respectively one inside the other, both elastic. The part blocking pincer (212) has a structure for gripping the part following interaction between the intermediate pincer (211) and the support. (250); in addition the pincer means (210) are suitable for being placed in rotation around the pincer axis (P-P).
Abstract:
An accessory tool retention assembly for a rotary tool includes a collet having a body defining a collet axis and having a plurality of flexible segments that extend longitudinal along the body generally parallel to the collet axis, each flexible segment including a curved end portion that curves radially outwardly from the collet body. A collet chuck is configured to be coupled to an output shaft of a motor of a rotary tool. The collet chuck defines a collet receiving passage configured to slidably receive the collet. A front wall portion on the collet chuck defines an insertion opening aligned with the passage of the collet chuck. The front wall portion defines a plurality of recesses sized and shaped complementary to the curved end portions of the collet. The plurality of recesses is positioned to receive the curved end portions when the collet is inserted into the collet receiving passage.

An accessory tool retention assembly for a rotary tool includes a collet having a body defining a collet axis and a plurality of flexible segments that extend longitudinal along the body generally parallel to the collet axis. Each flexible segment includes a curved end portion that curves radially outwardly from the collet body. A collet chuck is configured to be coupled to an output shaft of a motor of a rotary tool. The collet chuck defines a collet receiving passage configured to slidably receive the collet. A detent structure is positioned to block the collet from exiting the collet receiving passage while the flexible segments of the collet are in a relaxed state.
Abstract:
A rotary tool includes a housing, a tool holder, and a wrench assembly. The housing includes an end portion having external threads. The tool holder extends from the end portion and includes a fastening member configured for movement between an unclamped position and a clamped position in which the tool holder can engage a tool. The wrench assembly includes a body portion and a wrench member. The body portion includes (i) a plurality of internal threads configured to meshingly engage the external threads and (ii) an opening through which a portion of the tool holder extends when the internal threads are meshingly engaged to the external threads. The wrench member includes a wrench surface configured to engage the fastening member.
Abstract:
A cutting tool includes a chuck, a compressible conical collet and a lock nut for locking the collet. The cutting tool lock nut has a nut portion with a threaded portion for threading with the chuck, and a locking portion with a collet-locking surface formed with angled coolant grooves thereon. The collet-locking surface presses on the collet head, thereby compressing it to grip a tool shank in a collet bore thereof. As the locking portion presses only against a peripheral surface of the collet head, the lock nut is suitable for locking collets with different bore diameters. When the chuck is provided with a coolant fluid, the coolant fluid flows through the chuck and through the collet towards the locking portion, passing through the coolant notches between the locking portion and the collet head, and sprayed towards a location along the tool shank.
Abstract:
A clamping device for clamping a work piece includes a chuck, a collet positioned inside the chuck, and a bayonet fastener operatively arranged so that the collet is fastenable in the chuck and is removable from the chuck solely by manual operation of the bayonet fastener without the use of auxiliary tools.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a chuck with a chuck body (2) having a centering hole (3) that is tapered frustoconically and in which is provided a clamping member (4) having a clamping thread (5), with an angle drive (8) having a threaded ring (6) engaged with the clamping thread (5), axially fixed to the chuck body (2), coaxial to the clamping member (4), and rotatable by a drive member (9) that can be rotated about a drive axis that is not parallel to the chuck axis. The drive member (9) can be inserted from the end opposite to the centering hole (3) into a body cavity (10) that can be closed by a plate (11) that is supported on the chuck body (2) and/or the threaded ring (6). The drive member (9) is accessible for a drive tool through an aperture (12) in the cavity wall (13).
Abstract:
A tool holder with tensioning design includes a body and a tensioning device. The body is a hollow cylinder with a peripheral wall and a tool inserting hole, around the peripheral wall is formed an annular slot, the peripheral wall is further provided with a gap which extends along an axial direction of the body and in communication with the annular slot, the body is provided with two assembling portions at two sides of the gap. The tensioning device is disposed at the two assembling portions to tighten or loosen the two assembling portions. The annular slot and the gap allows for micro deformation of the two assembling portions. The use of the tool holder of the present invention is not restricted by the configuration of the tool to be held.
Abstract:
