    Abstract: Method and system for providing graphical user interface for displaying hierarchical charts. According to various embodiments, the present invention provides a graphical user interface where relational data are displayed as one or more hierarchical charts. A hierarchical chart includes a plurality of nodes that are organized according to the hierarchical chart. Each of the nodes is associated with a data record that contains multiple level of information. At different view level, different amount of information for the nodes are displayed. A view control function is provided for the graphical user interface. If none (or all) of the nodes are selected, each nodes display the same level of information based associated with a particular view level. If only few of the nodes are selected, only the selected nodes responds changes in view level when being displayed.

    Abstract: The invention provides a data writing method. In one embodiment, a data storage device comprises a flash memory. First, the flash memory is directed to read a plurality of programming voltage values for data programming. The programming voltage values are then adjusted to obtain a plurality of adjusted programming voltage values according to difference bits between a plurality of stored data patterns corresponding to the programming voltage values. The adjusted programming voltage values are then sent to the flash memory. The flash memory is then directed to perform data programming according to the adjusted programming voltage values, wherein the data programmed according to the adjusted programming voltage values has a lower error bit rate than that of the data programmed according to the programming voltage values.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to user interfaces and more particularly to techniques for providing user interface which allows users to select filtering lcriteria and display filtered information accordingly. In various embodiments, related information is displayed on a hierarchical chart as nodes that are connected to one another. The hierarchical chart is updated after filtering criteria are applied, and the display visibility of the nodes are changed based on the filtering results. The hierarchical relationships among the nodes are maintained before and after the filtering process.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for displaying hierarchy information. In one embodiment, a graphical user interface (“GUI”) is provided that displays hierarchy information, the displayed information comprising multiple nodes and hierarchical relationships between the nodes. Different sets of information may be associated with one or more of the displayed nodes. Techniques are provided to enable a user to individually change the set of information displayed in one or more of the displayed nodes. In this manner, a user is able to change the set and/or category of information displayed for one or more selected nodes. More specifically, different sets and/or categories of information contained in the nodes are displayed based on the view selected by the user.
