Abstract: An electronic device includes a transparent first display panel, a second display panel and a processor electrically connected to the two panels. The first display panel is movable with respect to the second display panel. The processor is configured to switch between a plurality of display modes based on relative positioning of the two panels and to provide video signals to the two panels based on a current display mode. When the first display panel is parallel to the second display panel and faces a display area of the second display panel, the processor executes a stereoscopic display mode. When an angle between the two panels is between 0 and 180 degrees, exclusive, the processor executes an augmented reality display mode. When the display areas of the two panels are oriented away from each other, the processor executes a dual display mode.

Abstract: A touch panel of improved appearance and function includes a substrate, first bridges, insulating strings, first electrodes, and second electrode strings. Each insulating string extends along a first direction and covers the first bridges. The insulating strings are spaced apart from each other in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. Adjacent first electrodes in the second direction are electrically connected to one first bridge to form a first electrode string. Each second electrode string is on one of the insulating strings. Each first electrode string and the adjacent second electrode string are insulated from each other by a difference in height along one insulating string. A method for making the touch panel and a touch display device using the touch panel are also disclosed.

Abstract: A micro LED display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first metal electrodes and a plurality of metal pads on a surface of the substrate, a connection layer on the substrate, a plurality of micro LEDs on a side of the connection layer away from the substrate. The connection layer includes conductive particles. Each of the micro LEDs is coupled to at least one of the first metal electrode. A side of each of the metal pads away from the substrate is coupled to some of the conductive particles in the connection layer to form a metal retaining wall. The metal retaining walls enhance structural strength of the micro LED display panel and avoid breakage of any of the micro LEDs.

The touch sensor is opposite to the light-transmitting area. The second reflective layer is on a side of the light guide layer away from the first substrate. An electronic device using the light-emitting assembly and a method for making the light-emitting assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: A touch panel able to recognize user commands whether from a finger actually touching- or from a non-touching finger floating above the panel includes a substrate; a plurality of touch electrodes, a driver electrically connected to each touch electrode, and connection lines on the substrate. The touch electrodes are divided into a plurality of touch units, each touch unit including at least two touch electrodes. The driver outputs touch driving signals to drive each of the touch electrodes and can recognize more than one level of current, as a result of actual touches or as a result of virtual or floating “touches” on the touch electrodes. Each connection line is electrically connected to the driver and one touch electrode. The driver is further configured to autonomously control the touch panel to work in a first touch mode or a second touch mode without manual switching by a user.

The second flat surface of the frame body is set with a first alignment mark, and the binding flat surface of the cover glass is set with a second alignment mark, and the first alignment mark corresponds to the second alignment mark.

Abstract: An improved insulation protection structure comprises a sensor film, a chip outline, a protective film, and an insulating cement layer. The chip outline is on the sensor film, the protective film is on the chip outline, the insulating cement layer is between the chip outline and the protective film. The insulating cement layer comprises at least one surface facing inward the chip outline, retracted toward the direction of the chip outline and forms a retracted region along at least one side of the sensor film. Area of the proposed retracted region is preferably no more than 20% of that of the total insulating cement layer, and the conventional issues such as sulphide corrosion are solved. The proposed insulating cement layer can be cured merely at room temperature, and widely used for adhesive materials including both a gel and film, thus characterized by wider application range and better industrial applicability.
