An energy management system in a smart grid environment includes: an electrical power producing apparatus for collecting and analyzing real time price information and electrical power production environment information inputted through a communication network interface to thereby determine a control of an electrical power production; a micro grid, connected to the electrical power producing apparatus, for supplying an electrical power in a local micro grid environment; an electrical power grid, connected to the micro grid, for supplying a main power; and an energy routing service apparatus for transmitting an electrical power and processing an energy information packet for a control of an electrical power flow.

An integrated circuit gate array structure includes: a semiconductor substrate including a plurality of columns of semiconductor material of a first conductivity type and a plurality of columns of semiconductor material of a second conductivity type; active areas formed within the columns to which can be connected conductive material, thereby forming active regions; gate connection regions, each controlling a flow of current between a source and a drain which are formed in each of the active regions, wherein each gate connection region has single gate connection pad region; and tap regions formed outside the columns, each of the tap regions being associated with one pair of the columns, the tap region being dropped with an opposite material than their respective columns thereby allowing current and voltage characteristics of the columns to be controlled.

An EMM (Energy Monitoring and Management) control system performs energy management of buildings, each building having an EMM client disposed therein. The EMM control system includes an EMM server configured to receive operation information of energy-consuming equipments in the building and information related to energy and environment of the building from the EMM client to perform a function of analyzing/taking statistics/reporting for the operation information, and energy and environment information, an EOM (Energy Optimization and Maintenance) server configured to derive an optimum energy operation program through energy evaluation index and simulation from the information provided from the EMM client and providing the optimum energy operation program to the EMM client.

A method and apparatus for constructing a data warehouse for managing mass building energy information are provided. The apparatus for constructing a data warehouse in order to manage mass building energy information includes a primitive database generator for constructing primitive databases in each building based on energy control point information, a time series data warehouse generator for generating time series data warehouses based on the constructed primitive databases, a space time series data warehouse generator for reconstructing the generated time series data warehouses based on an object construction information table including space information about objects for control points of the plurality of buildings to be controlled to generate space time series data warehouses, and a view database generator for generating view databases by a search condition in accordance with the search condition for energy usage information based on the generated space time series data warehouses.

An optimal energy management and energy equipment control interlocking system for a residential complex is provided. The energy management system for managing energy used by a residential complex may include home servers provided in households in the residential complex to collect energy usage information from a plurality of home devices provided in each of the households, to manage the collected energy usage information, and to control energy used by the plurality of home devices, and a complex server for receiving the energy usage information from the home servers to perform integrated management on the received energy usage information, for controlling a corresponding home server based on the received energy usage information, demand response (DR) information, and profile information for saving energy to perform energy saving control in each household, and for controlling energy used by common equipment provided in the residential complex.

The energy revenue calculating apparatus may synchronize time between the energy revenue calculating apparatus and at least one of a real time energy pricing information providing server and a time information providing server, based on time information received from at least one of the real time energy pricing information providing server and the time information providing server, synchronize an energy sale price stored in the energy revenue calculating apparatus with an energy sale price, based on energy sale price information received from the real time energy pricing information providing server, and calculate energy revenues for a predetermined time period, based on the received energy sale price information and information about an amount of energy that flows into and out of the plurality of electric power devices.

An electrical outlet for automatically sensing an electrical device, a system for managing electric energy using the electrical outlet, and a method thereof are disclosed. The electrical outlet may include a plug connecting unit to which a plug of an electrical device including a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is connected, an RFID reader for receiving information about the electrical device from the RFID tag, an electric energy measuring unit for measuring an amount of electric energy consumed by the electrical device, a controller for managing the received information about the electrical device and information about the measured amount of electric energy, and a communication unit for transmitting the information about the electrical device and the information about the amount of electric energy used to an electric energy management system.

A Peer-to-Peer (P2P) based social networking service method for providing a social networking service, includes transmitting a request to a peer group and performing a group-based social networking service; transmitting news or a question to peers in the peer group, and then receiving a response to the question; and storing the received information in a storage medium, and uploading specific information among the stored to a rendezvous peer. The method further includes delivering the uploaded specific information to another rendezvous peer in a network. A P2P based social networking service system includes a P2P middleware unit for providing services of communicating between and grouping the peers; a P2P service application program interface layer for providing a network element function; and a P2P application service layer for calling the network element function, if required, to thereby provide a user with a P2P based network service.
