Abstract:
A green tire feed system provided between the forming process and the vulcanizing process in a tire manufacturing installation. This green tire feed system comprises pallets, each adapted to be charged with green tires, pallet loading tables disposed respectively in front of the respective vulcanizing machines installed in a row, shelves disposed in opposition to the pallet loading tables, a stacker crane adapted to travel through a passageway formed between a row of the pallet loading tables and a row of the shelves, a station for receiving pallets sent from forming machines and from the pallet loading tables, and control devices for controlling the stacker crane. The stacker crane is controlled by the control means to transport a pallet charged with green tires form the station to the shelves and from the shelves to the pallet loading table, and to transport an empty pallet from the pallet loading table to the station.
Abstract:
A chromosomal DNA sequence which codes for human lymphotoxin, a lymphotoxin expression vector which contains a DNA sequence wherein a chromosomal DNA sequence coding for human lymphotoxin and promoter region which functions in animal cell are linked together, lymphotoxin resistant cell line, transformed animal cell culture which is formed by transforming cultured animal cell with a lymphotoxin expression vector which contains a chromosomal DNA sequence coding for human lymphotoxin and, a process for preparing human lymphotoxin, which comprises transforming cultured animal cell with a lymphotoxin expression vector which contains a chromosomal DNA sequence coding for human lymphotoxin, culturing the transformed cell culture to produce human lymphotoxin, and collecting the human lymphotoxin.According to the present invention, LT which is expected for application as the antitumor agent can be produced effectively in a large amount.
Abstract:
A balancing device comprising three or more rotating balancers mounted within a housing is detachably mounted on a reciprocating, internal combustion engine. The balancing device generates a balancing force F.sub.b chosen to cancel the vibrating force F.sub.r produced by the engine. The vibrating force F.sub.r lies on a vibration line S, and the balancing force F.sub.b is spaced a distance l therefrom, whereby a rotating moment M is generated. The balancing device also generates a balancing moment -M, chosen to cancel the rotating moment M.
Abstract:
Provided is an additive masterbatch having excellent storage stability (agglomeration resistance), which also has reduced surface tackiness despite comprising a low-melting-point resin additive at a high concentration. The additive masterbatch of the present invention is characterized by comprising, with respect to 100 parts by mass of (A) a polyolefin resin, 65 to 300 parts by mass of (B) a resin additive having a melting point of not higher than 80° C.; and 0.8 to 24 parts by mass of (C) a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorber.
Abstract:
A press-through package for articles such as medicines which can reliably prevent a recipient from accidentally swallowing the whole package without opening it, including solid medicines M stored in a plurality of pockets of a base sheet one by one and the pockets sealed by a cover film having attached to the rear surface of the base sheet, wherein the entire package of the press-through package is made in a cylindrical form which cannot allow a recipient from accidentally swallowing and from which the medicines can be taken out easily.

Abstract:
A to-be-polished surface of a silicon wafer is rough polished while supplying to a hard polishing cloth a polishing solution in which a water-soluble polymer has been added to an alkaline aqueous solution having free abrasive grains. Thus, polishing at a high polishing rate and roll-off on an outer periphery of the wafer can be satisfied simultaneously.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a multi-functional nonwoven fabric for filter that has excellent properties to adsorb various toxic/harmful substances such as odorous substances, VOCs, allergens, and pathogenic viruses, has antibacterial/antimold properties, and suppresses pressure loss to a minimal level, and the present invention also provides a method that can produce such a nonwoven fabric in a simple manner. Due to the simple steps of immersing the nonwoven fabric in an aqueous polypeptide solution and further treating it with a metal salt, it is possible to obtain a nonwoven fabric for filter having excellent adsorption properties in which the fiber surface of the nonwoven fabric is coated with insolubilized polypeptide that has been crosslinked with a metal. Also, a method that can produce such a filter in a simple manner was found.
Abstract:
An antibacterial agent of the present invention contains a metal-containing compound containing a metal other than aluminum, and a phosphorus-adsorbing material. A method of using an antibacterial agent of the present invention is a method for improving an antibacterial property of a metal-containing compound containing a metal other than aluminum, wherein the metal-containing compound and a phosphorus-adsorbing compound are used in combination. Thus, the present invention provides an antibacterial agent, and a method of using an antibacterial agent, wherein an antibacterial property of a metal-containing compound containing a metal other than aluminum, particularly a silver-containing compound, is improved significantly.
Abstract:
An aluminum salt-containing resin powder of the present invention includes: at lest one matrix resin component selected from regenerated collagen, polyvinyl alcohol and carboxymethyl cellulose; and an aluminum salt. The aluminum salt is chemically bonded to the matrix resin component, and the resultant is powdered. A resin composition of the present invention includes 0.1 wt % or more and 80 wt % or less of the aluminum salt-containing resin powder and 20 wt % or more and 99.9 wt % or less of a resin other than the aluminum salt-containing resin. Thus, the present invention provides an aluminum salt-containing resin powder having a high phosphorus adsorption property, a high antibacterial property and a high antifungal property, and a resin composition containing the aluminum salt-containing resin powder.
