Abstract: A channel estimator for use in wireless local area networks (WLAN's), characterized in that a channel estimation controller with a simplified recursive least square (RLS) algorithm and a data-reconstructor are employed to adjust the channel response in frequency domain during the delivery of a signal packet. Such adjustment is adaptively performed at anytime during the delivery of a signal packet so as to achieve fast convergence as well as accurate channel estimation.

Abstract: A method for reducing buffer requirements in a digital audio decoder. Firstly, N samples that have to be decoded for an audio channel at this time are extracted from a sub-frame of a bitstream. A sub-block of K PCM samples is calculated at a time by performing an inverse transform on the N extracted samples, and then the N extracted samples are discarded. Note that the number of extracted samples is greater than or equal to the number of the PCM samples in a generated sub-block, i.e., NnullK. The above steps are repeated until one PCM output sub-frame of the audio channel is fully obtained.

Abstract: A writing identification system includes a touch control panel, an identification device, and a pairing device. The identification device includes a housing assembly detachably attached to a writing instrument. A trigger sensor is disposed in a first cover of the housing assembly for sensing displacement of the writing instrument. A wireless transmission module is disposed in the first cover. When the trigger sensor senses the displacement and a writing head of the writing instrument contacts a writing board, the wireless transmission module transmits a first identification signal. A power module is disposed in the housing assembly. The pairing device is configured to receive the first identification signal and a handwriting touch signal to generate a first pairing signal and transmit the first pairing signal to a user device.

Abstract: A device for detecting an audio interface includes a processing unit, a first audio interface transmitting circuit, and a second audio interface transmitting circuit. The processing unit is utilized to generate a clock signal and a word select (WS) signal. The first audio interface transmitting circuit is utilized to generate a first audio data according to the clock signal. The second audio interface transmitting circuit is utilized to generate a second audio data according to the clock signal and the WS signal. The processing unit switches to the first audio interface transmitting circuit if a voltage potential of the WS signal remains at a high voltage level or remains at a low voltage level longer than a predetermined period. The processing unit switches to the second audio interface transmitting circuit if the voltage potential of the WS signal changes during the predetermined period.
