Abstract:
Disclosed are methods of transmitting and receiving media information file for HTTP stream. Content is divided into segments, the segments are divided into segment sub groups, each of the divided segments grouping the segment sub groups, a meta media information file including information on a segment sub group is configured; and sub media information file including information on segments in a segment sub group is configured. When service initializes, the meta media information file is transmitted. When a transmission request for content is received, the sub media information file to which a playback request timing for content belongs is selected and transmitted by referring to the meta media information file, and then, a segment in a segment sub group corresponding to the sub media information file is transmitted. Thus, during HTTP streaming, initial transmission delay is reduced, and random access and trick mode playback are possible.
Abstract:
The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for encoding/decoding high resolution images, which involve setting the size of the prediction unit to be encoded to an expanded macro-block size in accordance with the temporal frequency characteristics or spatial frequency characteristics among pictures to be encoded, and performing motion prediction motion compensation, and transformation on the basis of a set prediction unit size. In addition, the methods and the apparatuses of the present invention involve dividing a macro-block having a pixel size of 32*32 or 64*64 into at least one partition on the basis of an edge, and performing encoding processes for each partition. Accordingly, encoding efficiency can be improved for high definition (HD) or higher resolution high-resolution images.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an adaptive intra-prediction encoding and decoding method. The adaptive intra-prediction encoding method comprises the following steps: providing a prediction unit to be encoded; determining the total number of prediction modes for intra-prediction in accordance with the size of the prediction unit; selecting a certain prediction mode on the basis of the displacement of a reference pixel among the determined total number of the prediction modes, and performing intra-prediction using the selected prediction mode; and transforming and quantizing the residual value, which is the difference between the prediction unit predicted by the intra-prediction and the current prediction unit, and entropy-encoding the transformed and quantized value. Thus, rate-distortion may be optimized and image quality and encoding speed may be improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a processing method which enables natural reproduction in the event an expression switch occurs during an HTTP streaming transmission. The method involves: receiving a first media information file which stores information regarding segments in the event no expression switch occurs, and a second media information file which stores information regarding segments in the event an expression switch occurs; and receiving and reproducing segments of the content to be received with reference to the first information in the event no expression switch occurs, and receiving and reproducing segments of the content to be received with reference to the second information in the event an expression switch occurs. Thus, multimedia content may be provided without screen stoppage errors arising from changes in the dynamic environment of a channel.
Abstract:
A foreign substance filtering film for a drain of the present invention includes a main body having at least two or more through-holes; and a grip extended from an outer periphery of the main body such that the grip is spaced distant from the center of the main body. The grip extends from the film material and has a length at least one half longer than the width of the main body. The foreign substance filtering film improves sanitation and provides a reduction in user discomfort by enabling the user to easily hold the grip of the filtering film without the need for touching by hand, hair caught on the filtering film inserted into the socket of the drain. The present invention provides an inexpensive foreign substance filtering film for a drain that improves sanitation as it enables a user to discard the filtering film together with the foreign substance caught at the filtering film without the necessity of separating the filtering film from the socket of the drain, and to grasp the foreign substance with the filtering film.
Abstract:
An organic EL display panel having display pixels with an improved aperture ratio. A display pixel includes a control electrode line coupled to control electrodes of first and second transistors and a main electrode of a fourth transistor, and a power electrode line provided substantially in parallel with a data line and coupled to a main electrode of the first transistor. Channels of the first and second transistors are formed substantially in parallel with a scan line. A node of the control electrode line for coupling the control electrodes of the first and second transistors is arranged in a direction substantially perpendicular to that of the scan line, and a portion of the control electrode line extended to the main electrode of the fourth transistor is formed substantially in parallel with the power electrode line in a substantially vertical direction, and forms a capacitor together with the power electrode line.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a transistor includes forming a semiconductor layer on a substrate, a first insulation film on the semiconductor layer, and a gate electrode on the first insulation film. The method also includes forming a source region, a channel region, and a drain region in the semiconductor layer and forming a second insulation film on the gate electrode. A source electrode and a drain electrode are formed on the second insulation film and are coupled to the source region and the drain region, respectively. The method further includes coupling the drain electrode to the gate electrode through a contact hole that is vertically above the channel region.
