    Abstract: A seating assembly includes a coupling member, a seat, a seatback, a swivel plate, and a base. The seat is pivotably coupled to the coupling member. The suspension system includes a carrier assembly, a displaceable platform, and an attachment member extending between the carrier assembly and the displaceable platform, wherein the attachment member is positionable between the rest position and an extended positon.     Abstract: A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat base. A carriage is coupled to a lower surface of the seat base and includes a locating protrusion on a bottom surface thereof. The track assembly includes a rail. A rail cartridge is slidably engaged with the rail. The rail cartridge defines a locating hole for receiving the locating protrusion. A first electrical connector is coupled to the rail cartridge. A second electrical connector is coupled to the carriage and operable between engaged and disengaged positions. An actuation member is configured to move the second electrical connector between the engaged and disengaged positions. When the second electrical connector is in the engaged position, an electrical connection is formed between the first and second electrical connectors.

    Abstract: A seatback assembly includes a front carrier module having a mounting portion with an inverted U-shaped outer perimeter edge. A plurality of doors includes individual doors that are hingedly coupled to the outer perimeter edge of the front carrier module. Each door of the plurality of doors is operable between open and closed positions. An airbag carrier module includes an inverted U-shaped raceway with an open front portion. The airbag carrier module is operably coupled to the front carrier module, such that the doors of the front carrier module selectively open and close the open front portion of the raceway of the airbag carrier module.

    Abstract: A seating assembly of a row of seating of a vehicle comprising: (a) a seat including a frame having an inboard side; and (b) an inboard armrest assembly comprising: (i) a lower bracket attached to the inboard side of the frame of the seat; (ii) an upper bracket pivotally coupled to the lower bracket about a pivot axis extending generally forward-to-rearward; and (iii) a cushion unit mounted upon the upper bracket, the upper bracket having an inboard position and, upon application of an outboard force to the upper bracket, an outboard position further outboard than the inboard position, the upper bracket transitioning from the inboard position to the outboard position about the pivot axis. The outboard force moving the cushion unit to the outboard position removes the inboard armrest assembly from projecting into a center aisle of a vehicle.

    Abstract: A seat assembly includes a mounting plate and a base frame rotatable mounted on the mounting plate by a swivel mechanism for swiveling the seat assembly between forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations. A seat portion is operably coupled to the base frame and includes a front edge. The seat portion can be pivoted between use and upright non-use positions. The seat assembly includes a first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the use position and a second rotational footprint that is less than the first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the upright non-use position. The second rotational footprint is intended to accommodate swiveling of the seat assembly between the forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations within a vehicle interior.
