Abstract: An ultrasound transducer unit including a plurality of ultrasound transducers transmits and receives ultrasound waves to and from an inside of a subject. In a case where a checking operation unit is operated, a controller controls a driving voltage supply unit such that a driving voltage is supplied with all of the plurality of ultrasound transducers as driving target transducers. In a case where the checking operation unit is operated, a depolarization determination unit calculates, for each ultrasound transducer, a reception sensitivity in a case where an ultrasound wave is received by driving all of the plurality of ultrasound transducers as the driving target transducers, and determines whether or not a depolarization determination value calculated from the reception sensitivity of each ultrasound transducer satisfies numerical conditions. If the numerical conditions are satisfied, a polarization voltage supply unit supplies a polarization voltage to each of the plurality of ultrasound transducers.

Abstract: In an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and a control method of the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus of the present invention, a blood vessel extraction unit extracts a short-axis image of a blood vessel from an ultrasound image, an emphasis display unit displays in an emphasized manner the short-axis image of the blood vessel in the ultrasound image displayed on a monitor, and a movement amount detection unit detects a movement amount of the ultrasound image between adjacent frames on the basis of the ultrasound image. In a case where the movement amount is equal to or greater than a first threshold value after the emphasis display of the short-axis image of the blood vessel by the emphasis display unit is started, the apparatus control unit stops the emphasis display of the short-axis image of the blood vessel by the emphasis display unit. As a result, the short-axis image of the blood vessel included in the ultrasound image can be displayed in an emphasized manner without causing a user to feel discomfort even in a case where the entire ultrasound image is moved.

The ultrasonic vibrator unit and the electrically conductive structural body are connected to each other via an electrically insulating second thermally conductive member. Thus, the ultrasonic endoscope that has a heat release structure which transmits the heat generated from the ultrasonic vibrator to the electrically conductive endoscopic structure housed in a distal end part and which can efficiently release the heat therefrom while electric safety is secured; and that can prevent a burn of an alimentary canal by suppressing a temperature rise of surfaces of the ultrasonic vibrators is provided.
