Abstract: A carbon dioxide (CO2) capture system and method for removing CO2 from an inlet gas including a first fluid stream inlet providing for the flow of a first fluid stream, such as an inlet gas containing CO2, and a second fluid stream inlet providing for the flow of a second fluid stream, such as steam, an outlet providing for the flow of a CO2 depleted stream from the CO2 capture system, an outlet providing for the flow of a CO2 stream from the CO2 capture system and a concentrator in fluid communication with the first fluid stream. The system further including a first contactor and a second contactor. Each of the first contactor and the second contactor defining therein a first fluidically-isolated, sorbent-integrated, fluid domain for flow of the first fluid stream and CO2 adsorption and a second fluidically-isolated fluid domain for flow of the second fluid stream to assist in desorption.

Abstract: This present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods of electrophoretic deposition (EPD) techniques for use in insulation systems at least partially encapsulating a semiconductor device, a conductive component and a substrate, such as insulation systems of semiconductor devices, busbars, or the like. Insulation systems formed using EPD processes may be designed to have a dielectric constant that decreases in a direction away from a substrate of the insulation system. This may improve insulation technologies since depositing coatings with sequentially arranged dielectric constants may improve resistance of the insulation system to high temperature, high electric fields, or the like.

Abstract: A combustion section defines an axial direction, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The combustion section includes a casing that defines a diffusion chamber. A combustion liner is disposed within the diffusion chamber and defines a combustion chamber. The combustion liner is spaced apart from the casing such that a passageway is defined between the combustion liner and the casing. A fuel cell assembly is disposed in the passageway. The fuel cell assembly includes a fuel cell that extends between an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end receives a flow of air and fuel and the outlet end provides output products to the combustion chamber. Abstract: An electric machine includes a rotor assembly having a rotor core that extends in an axial direction and a stator assembly surrounding and coaxial with the rotor assembly. The stator assembly includes a stator core having slots extending in a radial direction into an inner surface of the stator core and extending axially from a first end surface to a second end surface of the stator core. The stator assembly includes stator coil windings disposed within the respective slots of the stator core and a first electrically insulating conformal coating disposed between the stator core and the stator coil windings. The conformal coating includes a polymer matrix impregnated with an effective amount of thermally conductive ceramic materials, above a percolation threshold, that form continuous thermal pathways across a thickness of the first coating.

Abstract: An insertion apparatus includes an insertion end positionable within a cavity and configured to travel through the cavity, a steering end opposite the insertion end, and a body extending from the insertion end to the steering end and sized to fit within the cavity. The body includes a plurality of members flexibly coupled together and individually actuated. Each member of the plurality of members includes at least one actuator strand. At least one member of the plurality of members has a first configuration in which the at least one member of the plurality of members has a first stiffness and a second configuration in which the at least one member of the plurality of members has a second stiffness greater than the first stiffness. At least a portion of the body is flexible to facilitate travel of the body through the cavity when the at least one member of the plurality of members is in the first configuration. The at least a portion of the body is configured to maintain a selected shape when the at least one member of the plurality of members is in the second configuration.
