Abstract: A secure access method performed by an authentication server includes receiving a first message from a non-3GPP access device. The method also includes performing fast re-authentication with the terminal when determining that fast re-authentication is allowed. The method further includes sending a second message to a home subscriber server. The second message carries a registration type identifier, an identifier of the terminal, and an address of the authentication server. The registration type identifier is used to indicate that current secure access of the terminal is secure access using a fast re-authentication procedure. The method additionally includes receiving a registration success indication from the home subscriber server. The method also includes sending an access success indication to the terminal based on the registration success indication.

Abstract: A resource indication method, a device, and a system relate to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: allocating, by a base station, a BP to a terminal device, and sending, to the terminal device, a first message indicating a resource position of the BP; and receiving, by the terminal device, the first message sent by the base station, and then determining the resource position of the BP based on resource position information of at least one sub-BP, where the BP includes the at least one sub-BP, the BP is not greater than a maximum bandwidth supported by the terminal device, and the first message includes the resource position information of the at least one sub-BP. The BP is allocated by using a sub-BP as a granularity, so that signaling overheads can be reduced while a requirement for more flexible resource allocation is satisfied.

Abstract: This application discloses a network access method and apparatus, and a network device. The network access method is performed by an access gateway, includes: receiving a PPPoE message or a IPoE message sent by a user terminal, obtaining access information included in the PPPoE message or the IPoE message; encapsulating the access information into an NAS message or an EAP message; then, sending the NAS message or the EAP message to a control plane function entity CP; receiving network interface information sent by the CP; and sending the network interface information to the user terminal, so that the user terminal accesses a network. As can be learned from this solution, the user terminal is not limited by a protocol stack when accessing the network. Therefore, full services can be provided by deploying only one core network. This not only saves a resource but also facilitates network maintenance.

Abstract: Example channel state information (CSI) transmitting methods and apparatus are described. The CSI is a part of uplink control information (UCI) and it includes a first quantity of bits. One example method includes determining a threshold code rate according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index when the CSI is to be transmitted on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) without uplink data. A second quantity of bits is determined according to the threshold code rate and the first quantity of bits, where the second quantity of bits is less than or equal to the first quantity of bits. The second quantity of bits of the CSI is transmitted on the PUSCH.

Abstract: A frequency domain resource processing method is provided. The method is performed by a radio access network (RAN) node and includes: configuring a plurality of frequency domain resources for a terminal; and sending first information to the terminal, where the first information is carried on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and includes a plurality of information bits, the plurality of information bits correspond to the plurality of frequency domain resources respectively, and the information bits are used to instruct to activate or deactivate the frequency domain resources corresponding to the information bits. Compared with a manner of activating a carrier by using a MAC layer information element, this method saves time for parsing the MAC information element. In addition, the plurality of frequency domain resources can be processed by sending only a piece of information.
