Abstract:
A method and system for reporting the position of an aircraft to Air Traffic Services. The method comprises the steps of assigning at least one system access communication number to an aircraft, configuring a call routing system to provide a selection menu comprised of a plurality of Air Traffic Services radio facilities, initiating a call by dialing the system access communication number using a communications service, selecting at least one number corresponding to the Air Traffic Services radio facility sought, and routing the call to personnel at the corresponding Air Traffic Services radio facility using a communications device. The position of an aircraft is reported to the facility during the call.
Abstract:
A system for individual need-based determinations relative to the use of a substance is presented in various embodiments. As applied to supplements the system may be configured to present a test modality (6) which may be attached to a distribution container (1) within which supplements (2) or the like may be contained. The test modality (6) may be a user practical test modality that may be provided to a user with an information display (11) that may include an internal display (12) to educate the user on a particular test modality (6). Provisions for the options of a test result recordation enablement element (10) are provided in both manual and internet forms. The test modality (6) may be test strips compactly assembled and provided attached to the distribution container (1).
Abstract:
A system and method for providing voice or data connectivity to multiple aircraft or communication devices via a single telephone number. The initial call placed by a caller can be to a direct global number, or can be forwarded to the direct global number via a toll-free access number. A caller is prompted to select from an automated selection of aircraft, vessels, communication devices, or other available devices or units. Based upon the selection, the call is routed to the single global number for that selection. A caller then hears a greeting that identifies the aircraft, vessel, or device selected and provides the handset, data service, or other options available. After a caller makes a selection, call connectivity is established.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for measuring and gathering data relating to publication usage by participants in publication readership studies. Some methods and systems employ portable monitors carried by participants of the studies along with publications fitted with various devices, such as piezoelectric transducers, RFID tags and others devices and circuits.

Abstract:
Systems, methods and devices for gathering data concerning exposure of predetermined survey participants to billboards are provided. A portable transmitter is arranged to transmit a signal containing survey participant data, and a receiver located proximately to the billboard serves to receive the signal transmitted by the transmitter.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns methods and systems for gathering data concerning usage of media data provided from a predetermined receiver to a user. First data concerning usage of the media data is gathered by means of a portable monitor carried on the person of the user. Second data concerning usage of media data by the predetermined receiver is gathered by a monitoring system separate from the portable monitor, the second data corresponding to at least a portion of the first data. Audience measurement data is produced based on the first and second data.
Abstract:
Sport ball training devices and methods for releasably holding a tennis ball or other sport ball at an appropriate height for the practice of striking the ball, either directly or indirectly with a racket or the like. An embodiment may have a support device with a base and an adjustable vertical tubular assembly for the support of a transverse arm from which a ball sling is suspended. A retainer member of the ball sling circumferentially holds a sport ball. An embodiment of the retainer member may be made from an elastometric material that lightly squeezes the ball with sufficient force to restrain it, but releases easily when the ball is hit so that the trajectory of the ball is not affected by the presence of the retainer member nor is the racquet significantly affected by the presence of the ball sling generally.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method and an apparatus for automatically configuring and/or inserting chip resources for manufacturing tests. A maximum test configuration (“test backplane”) for all IP blocks is created and loaded into a tool suite. When a user issues a request to consume some IP blocks, the request may be checked for legality within the “test backplane”. If a test resource (IP block) is not available for activation, then either the test resource may not be activated or the conflicting resource problem must be resolved so that the test resource may be activated. This may avoid late design surprises. The resources on the platform may already have test structures associated with them. All of these test structures may be associated with the “test backplane”. These pre-exiting test structures may then be connected.
