    Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a display unit including a plurality of pixels; and an image processor configured to generate an image signal for displaying an image on the display unit. When the image processor causes the display unit to display the image such that a first pixel region that displays a first color is adjacent to a second pixel region that displays a second color and that has luminance higher than luminance of the first color, the image processor applies gain to an image signal corresponding to a pixel in the second pixel region to make brightness of the second pixel region lower than brightness of the first pixel region.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display apparatus includes an image sensor configured to output an image signal when the image sensor is driven in a first mode and a second mode, and a display device configured to display an image on a display panel based on the image signal. The image sensor is configured to output an image signal every first exposure time when the image sensor is driven in the first mode, and to output an image signal every second exposure time when the image sensor is driven in the second mode. The display device is configured to display an image in accordance with progressive drive when the image sensor is driven in the first mode, and to display an image in accordance with interlace drive when the image sensor is driven in the second mode.

    Abstract: Each pair of pixels including two pixels adjacent to each other includes two first sub pixels, two second sub pixels, and two third sub pixels. One of the two first sub pixels and one of the two second sub pixels are included in one of the pair of pixels. The other of the two second sub pixels and one of the two third sub pixels are included in the other of the pair of pixels.     Abstract: According to an aspect, an imaging system includes: a display device that includes a display panel on which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction and a light source configured to emit light to a side surface of the display panel; and an imaging device that is provided with the display panel interposed between the imaging device and a subject and is configured to capture an image of the subject transmitted through the display panel. The display device is configured to have: a first period in which pixel data is written to the pixels; and a second period in which the light source emits the light after the first period. The imaging device is configured to generate imaged data of the subject using exposure data acquired during the first period.
