Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a display unit including a plurality of pixels; and an image processor configured to generate an image signal for displaying an image on the display unit. When the image processor causes the display unit to display the image such that a first pixel region that displays a first color is adjacent to a second pixel region that displays a second color and that has luminance higher than luminance of the first color, the image processor applies gain to an image signal corresponding to a pixel in the second pixel region to make brightness of the second pixel region lower than brightness of the first pixel region.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display apparatus includes an image sensor configured to output an image signal when the image sensor is driven in a first mode and a second mode, and a display device configured to display an image on a display panel based on the image signal. The image sensor is configured to output an image signal every first exposure time when the image sensor is driven in the first mode, and to output an image signal every second exposure time when the image sensor is driven in the second mode. The display device is configured to display an image in accordance with progressive drive when the image sensor is driven in the first mode, and to display an image in accordance with interlace drive when the image sensor is driven in the second mode.

Abstract: A display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel provided with pixels; a light source provided with light emission points and configured to emit light; an acquirer configured to acquire viewpoint information of a user; and a controller configured to control image display based on the viewpoint information.
