    Abstract: A wireless power transmission device is disclosed. The wireless power transmission device, which is a medium-power wireless power transmission device that transmits power to a low-power wireless power reception device or a medium-power wireless power reception device, includes: a power conversion unit that converts electrical energy to a power signal; and a communications and control unit that communicates with the wireless power reception device and controls power transfer, the power conversion unit including: an inverter that converts DC input to an AC waveform that drives a resonant circuit; a primary coil that creates a magnetic field; and a current sensor that monitors the current in the primary coil, wherein the inverter operates in a full-bridge mode that drives a plurality of bridges or in a half-bridge mode that drives a single bridge.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for device pairing which can pair a plurality of terminals using a brightness value change pattern. The system for device pairing according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an apparatus including a display; n terminals; and a server for connecting the apparatus including the display with the n terminals. The server assigns an ID to the apparatus including the display in accordance with an access request of the apparatus. The apparatus including the display calculates a brightness value change pattern corresponding to the ID, and outputs the pattern on the display. The n terminals can identify the ID after detecting the pattern outputted on the display using a proximity sensor and an illuminance sensor, transmit the ID to the server, and request an access.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for channel availability query on multiple locations in a wireless local area network system. A method for a station (STA) to perform a channel query procedure in a wireless communication system comprises: transmitting, at a first STA corresponding to a channel availability query requesting STA, a first message to a second STA supporting the channel availability query procedure, wherein the second STA corresponds to a channel availability query responding STA, wherein the first message comprises device location information of one or more locations for the channel availability query; and receiving, at the first STA from the second STA, a second message comprising channel availability information, wherein the channel availability information is commonly applicable to multiple locations within an area, when the device location information of the first message is for the multiple location within the area.
