    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a motor assembly, and more particularly, to a motor having a two-phase input power source and a power conversion device for driving a two-phase motor. The present disclosure relates to the motor assembly for driving the two-phase motor, the motor assembly configured to comprise: a motor including a first winding and a second winding having an electrically insulated parallel structure; a DC-link circuit for supplying a direct-current voltage; and an inverter connected to the DC-link circuit to convert the direct-current voltage into an alternating-current voltage to drive the motor, and including a first switching element set connected to the first winding and a second switching element set connected to the second winding.

    Abstract: A washing method according to the present invention comprises: a first rotation step for rotating an inner tub; a rotating direction detecting step for detecting the rotating direction of the inner tub; and a second rotation step for starting to rotate the inner tub in the opposite direction to the rotating direction of the inner tub when the rotation of the inner tub stops in the first rotation step. When the inner tub stops over a predetermined time and then restarts, the inner tub starts to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotating direction when the inner tub stops, thereby reducing the eccentricity of the inside of the inner tub, inhibiting collisions between the inner tub and an outer tub, reducing noise during collisions, and improving the rotation performance of the inner tub.

    Abstract: A motor driving device controls a three-phase motor and a single-phase motor to operate in parallel. The motor driving device includes a dc terminal in which an upper and a lower DC-link capacitor are located. The motor driving device also includes a neutral terminal disposed between the upper and lower DC-link capacitors. The motor driving device includes an inverter that includes three pairs of upper switching elements and lower switching elements. Two pairs of upper switching elements and lower switching elements among three pairs are connected to an a-phase terminal and a b-phase terminal of the three-phase motor, respectively. The other pair of upper switching elements and lower switching elements among three pairs is connected to a first terminal of the single-phase motor. The neutral terminal is connected to a second terminal of the single-phase motor. A c-phase terminal of the three-phase motor is connected to the single-phase motor.

    Abstract: A clothes-processing apparatus is disclosed. The clothes-processing apparatus may have a cabinet defining an external appearance of the apparatus. The clothes-processing apparatus may also have a tub body provided inside the cabinet to accommodate water. Further, the clothes-processing apparatus may have a tub cover coupled to the tub body. The tub cover may have an opening through which laundry is introduced. The clothes-processing apparatus may have a drum rotatably provided inside the tub to accommodate laundry. The clothes-processing apparatus may also have a plurality of cleaning nozzles provided at the tub to spray the water toward a preset area of the drum. At least some of the plurality of cleaning nozzles may jet water at different spray angles.
