    Abstract: A key assembly includes a bottom plate, a keycap disposed on the bottom plate, an elastic member disposed between the bottom plate and the keycap, a link member, and a protruding member. The keycap has an inner surface facing the bottom plate and includes a link member pivoting portion protruding from the inner surface. The link member pivoting portion has a pivot hole and an opening communicating with the pivot hole and away from the inner surface. A size of the opening is smaller than a size of the pivot hole. The link member is rotatably disposed in the pivot hole. The protruding member is disposed between the inner surface of the keycap and the link member. The link member is supported by the protruding member and contacts a part of the link member pivoting portion near the opening on a wall surface surrounding the pivot hole.

    Abstract: A key structure includes a key cap, a bridge assembly, a first supporting part, a second supporting part, an attractable element and a magnet. The bridge assembly includes first and second hinge parts. The first hinge part has a first pivot coupling portion and a first connecting portion. The second hinge part has a second pivot coupling portion and a second connecting portion, wherein the first and second connecting portions are connected on an axis, and the first and second hinge parts rotate with respect to the axis. The first and second supporting parts are coupled to two ends of the first and second pivot coupling portions, respectively. The attractable element is disposed on the second hinge part. The magnet is correspondingly located under the attractable element for providing a magnetic force, so that the attractable element is attracted and positioned by the magnetic force.

    Abstract: A mechanical switch structure includes a keycap, a base plate formed with a guiding opening, a scissor unit disposed on the base plate, and a receiving housing. The receiving housing has a first accommodation and a second accommodation. A guiding unit is received in the first accommodation along a pressing direction of the keycap, and is formed with a hillside portion. A first elastic element provides the guiding unit with an elastic force. A resistance module has an abutting unit which is abutted against the hillside portion of the guiding unit, and a second elastic unit to provide the abutting unit with an elastic force toward the guiding unit. The hillside portion is undulate-shaped and faces the guiding unit. The abutting unit is abutted against the hillside portion so as to provide different resistances during a pressing stroke of the keycap.

    Abstract: A key structure with reduced resonant noise includes a base plate formed with a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion, a conductive film layer, an elastic conducting element, a linking rod, and a keycap on the linking rod. The linking rod has a main portion, a first arm extended from one end of the main portion and pivotally connected to the first supporting portion, and a second arm extended from the other end of the main portion and pivotally connected to the second supporting portion. The key cap has a bottom surface pivotally connected to the main portion of the linking rod. The base plate has openings under the linking rod and adjacent to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. The openings can reduce resonant effect of clapping sound in the keycap, when the keycap is pressed.

The carrier body has multiple vias, and the positioning hooks are respectively disposed corresponding to the vias. Each of the positioning hooks includes a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion respectively connected to two inner wall surfaces in the corresponding via. The keycap is disposed above the carrier body. The lifting member is disposed between the carrier body and the keycap. One end of the lifting member is connected to the keycap, and an other end of the lifting member is connected to the positioning hooks. The elastic member is disposed between the carrier body and the keycap.

    Abstract: A keyboard device and an operating method thereof are provided. The keyboard device includes a microcontroller, a drive circuit, a backlight module, and a plurality of key units. The microcontroller is coupled to a computer device. A detection module of the computer device detects an input mode of the computer device. The plurality of key units is disposed on the backlight module. The plurality of key units each has a plurality of character symbols corresponding to different input modes. The microcontroller outputs a control signal to the drive circuit according to the input mode. The drive circuit drives the backlight module according to the control signal to selectively illuminate one of the plurality of character symbols of each of at least a portion of the plurality of key units.
