    Abstract: A window assembly for a vehicle includes a plurality of window panels arranged with at least one pair of adjacent window panels. Adjacent edge portions of the adjacent window panels are joined by a respective molded joining element. The molded joining element is at least partially overmolded and joined at the respective edge portions of the adjacent window panels. The adjacent edge portions joined by the respective molded joining element are offset or non-coplanar. The upper rail includes an upper channel for movably receiving an upper region of the movable window and the lower rail includes a lower channel for movably receiving a lower region of the movable window. The upper rail has a depth dimension that is greater than a depth dimension of the lower rail. The generally vertical frame members are tapered so that the end regions have depth dimensions that are similar to the depth dimensions of the respective rail. The generally vertical frame members have upper attachment portions that are generally wedge-shaped and are configured for press fit attachment at correspondingly formed recesses established at the upper rail.

    Abstract: A vehicular rear liftgate window assembly includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A heater grid is disposed at an interior side of the glass window panel, the heater grid including a plurality of electrically conductive traces. A pair of busbars are established at the interior side of the glass window panel at opposite side regions of the electrically conductive traces of the heater grid. An aperture is established through the glass window panel at or near an upper region of each busbar, and electrical connectors are electrically connected at the upper regions of the busbars. The electrical connectors are configured to route a respective electrical wire from an exterior side of the glass window panel and through the respective aperture for electrical connection to the respective busbar at the interior side of the glass window panel.

    Abstract: A method of forming a unitary perimeter seal for attachment at a fixed window panel of a slider window assembly of a vehicle includes forming upper, lower and side sealing portions each having elongated body portions and sealing lips extending substantially therealong.
